The peak of mental health, for sure.
Well Jaina is what we call “Main character”. Main characters, like Anakin Skywalker, Don’t need anyone or anything and can just do things on her own.
We had cities and garrisons for that, which had portals that can lead to Dalaran fast. We were always connected, even when we weren’t physically there.
Like how the SCP foundation has many based around the world but you have your primary place. Also like the FBC in Control. The oldest house in New York is their main base, but they have bases all over the world.
i know those items are there, but is it stated those are where magic comes from?i know those items are there, but is it stated those are where magic comes from?
Dalaran isn’t where magic comes from, it is just where all the known knowledge of elf and human magic just go to. Magic comes from everywhere. Arcane is everywhere…and fel…and light…and void…and whatever evokers do.
Yeah, because it was one Kirin Tor archemage trying to do things on his own and calling his friends. That is why it was only mages showing up.
Well yeah, they had a clearer goal and the Crusade was taking everyone. This questline for the Kirin Tor was a quest just for the Kirin tor and their outlook.
And that is the difference. A paladin should be confident because confidence is one of the key things to call in the light. A mage being a little more…indecisive fits with the whole unraveling magical truths. They don’t have a clear idea, they just work things out until thigns come together.
i appreciate the discussion. thank you for sharing your insight, friend
That’s because there were like what, 2-3 cut scenes in game in total in BC and Wrath?
More cut scenes in game is a good thing.
I gave Danuser so much flak for being a bad self insert writer…but yeah, at least his work didn’t instantly make me go “i’d rather brush my teeth with a nail file” until way later. Straight out the gate I wasn’t interested in this expansion and now I’m just like “put a bullet in it and move on”.
What I’m annoyed with more than anything is that these people aren’t angry af at xal and want to tear her apart. All we got was Alleria not even acting crazier than usual which she apologizes for. Xal needs to go.
Maybe Veseera will be the one to bring some actual rage to the fight. She’s lost the last thing she had to remind her of her husband. In fact she is a protector of dalaran and to not even hear from her this whole time is just dumb.
What is your definition of “masculine”? A guy who is stoic and barely says anything?
I’m sorry but that’s just objectively bad story telling. I like it when characters, yknow, talk to each other.
Something is wrong with you then
lol I like pineapple and steak on a pizza. Nice sweet, savory and salty all at the same time.
may i just have the steak without the additional accoutrements?
You’re equating to liking the story to being mentally ill? K
Anduin’s arc is pretty realistic and relatable for many young kids and adults. This is because he knows he is powerful, but he also wants to use power like the light responsibly and NOT hurt people.
That conflict of self doubt creates an interesting dynamic and a hero’s journey where he re-discovers his purpose and how to use power in a manner that is proportional when needed to do good and help people.
Yeah… Jaina especially would absolutely murder someone for a manabomb… she still has PTSD and Khadgar hair from the last one.
Alleria is also realistic in that she rushes bravely into battle but is learning to be more patient. She has flaws but is slowly learning to be a more well rounded person beyond being bold.
Alleria is three thousand years old and spent most of that time battling things.
Low effort garbage in a low effort expansion. JACKPOT will be the lowest effort attempt at class balance. The dead game keeps on getting deader.
Garrosh
Varian
Vol’Jin
Cairne
Nathanos
Illidan
Malfurion
Arthas
Kael’thas
Gen Greymane
Varok Saurfang
Uther
etc…
…basically just pick any male character that has been killed off or sidelined from the game.
You think Garrosh was masculine? Dude was a child at most. If he didn’t get his way, he would break the toy and leave and have a temper tantrum.
Nathanos? That dude wasn’t masculine, dude was a sociopath. He hated everyone and only cared about his dark queen. Simp is more like it.
I agree with the rest though. Especially Arthas.
Gen Greymane acted like a child a lot, which led to his kingdom falling. It was after that he started to calm himself and started to act like a true man.
“Metzen is coming back! He’ll fix everything because all the terrible writing was the fault of one guy!”
“Metzen can’t be held accountable for a whole team of terrible writers!”
tbf, for elves, 3k is kinda like…last 4 years to many of us.
