Because it wasn’t at the drop of a hat. This was multiple conflicts, wars and many lives lost throughout all of them which led them to this point.
You can just say you don’t know the lore…
That would be yourself, not I.
So… your mastery of the lore informs you that members of the council some of who were present during the first destruction of dalaran would be made useless by grief…
By any chance do you know what members of the six survived both?

All of it sucks
Wheelchair Khadgar saddest of all
Put my boy on a magic carpet or something if you’re not going to fix his legs
Kinda ridiculous we can literally rez people from the dead, but we won’t heal the most powerful mage we have
People don’t stop reacting with sadness when seeing people die based on seeing a lot of people die. That is not how it works and I am genuinely a little concerned on why you think it works that way.
Because it makes a far better story to follow a heroes point of view then someone sobbing as better people address the problem.
This is what I wanted the dalaran reaction to be
Personally I think bad writing is when characters have no reaction to things happening around them but that’s just me I guess
Then we are agreed them standing around sobbing for weeks was a boring and awful reaction
I thought it was pretty bad as well. All this crap from Khadgar about the mages of Dalaran being arrogant and stuff. The thing with the boats disappearing?
It’s like they think there is some drama involved in the destruction of Dalaran, when I can teleport there with any of my characters. And I don’t need to timewalk to do it. I have a DL hearthstone that can take me to it any time.
It’s a GAME! An adventure GAME. Stop trying to cram in all this high school teen drama crap into it.
Got it, no more characterization at all. Just don’t have a story anymore. Just dungeons and more dungeons.
I don’t know if Metzen is gonna be enough to save the story.
It’s really, really bad.
There is more to characters then sobbing. I know it isnt really visable in the game since legion but trust me.
Imagine having a funeral service and being stoic like some unfeeling statue.
Nah, Metzen is going to make Thrall into a super sayain and just have him whip out his orc meat. People want that really badly.
Imagine not doing anything at all as a group of archmages…
Especially the ones that survived the first through forth war.
I always feel like people screaming " the feelz" are new to the franchise
I kind of liked the story in DF. It wasn’t great, for sure. But it felt a lot more like WoW. Head and shoulders above SL.
One thing I’m getting tired of is all of the apologizing. Brynth even apologizes to Skitter for things she had nothing to do with.
I bet you hate Lord of the Rings. A lot of talking and sitting around with their feelings. Bet you hated the whole convo of pippen and Gandalf talking about dying and how scared they are.
I would like you to explain how those examples in particular apply to the dalaran plot in tww.
I feel like it would be amusing.
