I did my first solo 8 Delve yesterday

It’s fun to have a challenge where the only obstacle is yourself. You learn so much about how to play your character. It is exhilarating to use your brain and again, the only one who can screw it up is you. But the only one who can win is you. Feels really good to accomplish something like this without the need for a group.

Waterworks is one of the tougher one’s too imo.

WoW truly has come a long way, shame it didn’t get here sooner.

To have a solo endgame pillar with lives attached has been something I wish it had years ago. And to think it’s finally here…

I think Torghast was their first attempt. And a good learning step. They went the wrong way with it by making it mandatory and no real reason to do it besides being forced to do it for your Legos.

I think delves will continue to evolve with feedback. I can almost guarentee that there will be a tank in the future for healer classes for instance and things like that.

I think this will allow raids to evolve too. Maybe even equivalent raid gear vs open world gear would be nice. Already tier is there, but for other slots as well

You are an ORC! Not a Kobold! Drop the candle! I drop mine just outside the other candle so I get a bigger safe zone to manoeuvre.

You can probably take off Lone Wolf and stick with MM, put the skill point in another slot just for delves.

Grats Pazcadia. Glad you are enjoying them!

Gratz, Best thing about solo Delves is it will create a lot more Elden Ring fans

Idk about that. I’ve played both delves and Elden Ring and can definitely say I’m no Elden Ring fan.

This is as far as I care to progress in S1. T8 is pretty much my limit. Once Im full 605+ Im calling it and moving onto my next toon.

Solo Delves are great its nice Solo players have a gearing path now. 600-610ilvl is all I need in s1. Im a solo player and do not require the gear ilvl needed to push M+ or Raids.

That’s my plan as well, stopping at T8. The gear rewards end there. I might tinker a bit with higher levels, but I doubt I’ll get the achievement, since I won’t be doing M+ or normal/mythic raids.

Hmm yeah guess Elden Ring would have to add a NPC follower

And be somewhere around less than half as difficult as it is.

It has summons. I basically cheesed some of those boss fights with the mimic.

grats which character did you do that on? I see from https://worldofwarcraft.blizzard.com/en-us/character/us/proudmoore/pazcadia/achievements/delves/the-war-within it shows you didnt do it on this character that you are posting on for some reason.

you can see from my lowbie dk https://worldofwarcraft.blizzard.com/en-us/character/us/uldaman/daekitew/achievements/delves/the-war-within I cleared a t10 solo ( on 10/1).

The only reason why i asked which character you did it on (hoping it was the shaman as I have a fresh 80 shaman myself https://worldofwarcraft.blizzard.com/en-us/character/us/proudmoore/zapitew/ that I was hoping i could do a t8 solo on it and if you had some pointers/tips or a build to follow

When he shows up. It can scare the crap out of you.
