I did a m+ carry for gold and now i'm banned

Your so right if you let it get to you and you say something bad. Well it will catch up to you sooner then later. Honestly in groups I hardly say anything and if someone is rude to me or someone else do I say anything no. But you can bet your bippy depending on what they say they will get reported.

Also, keep in mind that they don’t look just at the person that was reported. They look at the entire chat, and ANYONE who violated the code of conduct gets an account action. I remember a case while back where someone reported someone for something, and they ended up getting themselves actioned for language too. Two wrongs don’t make a right.

my ban is about to finish and i never got the email explaining the exact reason of my ban, also i remember that conversation you are talking about it was on SS and there was this ret trash talking the enemy healer saying that he sucks and he cant heal or dispel i told him that you cant get dispel if you run behind the pilar he argue and i called him that word, but off course your system wont see that because its broken.

Also i sent multiple tickets asking blizzard support to provide me the email stating the reason of my ban. every reply was a bot i never spoke to a Real Human being

I want to finish this post since i wont come back to it telling you guys about a time i was struggling in life and wow was my only scape. i had problems at home my dad left the house and i had to get money somehow but couldn’t get a job it was back in beggining of WOD around 2014-2015

The wow token just got introduced and i couldn’t afford to pay another month of sub so i sent a ticket to the GM’s asked them if i could get like 1 or 2 days of gametime to farm the new wow token and keep on playing as that was my only distraction from what was happening.

I got contacted by a GM in game within 8h, i was afk and he even waited for me and spoke to me about my situation he was so nice that he gave me a whole month to help me out. that was almost 10y ago and i still remember.

It doesn’t matter why you said what you said. You said it, and that is the violation. If someone else is trying to goad you into saying something bad, then put them on Ignore. Of course, if they violate the rules in this, you can report their chat as well.

There are no “bots”.

You received a response above:

All of this is irrelevant to your current situation. They made an exception to policy in the past, that’s great. But it has nothing to do with you breaking the Code of Conduct.

They do still care about players. But that caring does not mean you can break the rules and get away with it. Doing so would show a lack of caring for the person you called a vulgar name.

This is not your personal game. There are others that play the game, and they deserve to be treated with respect.

I’m sorry to hear that you are having a bad time right now. I am also having some financial troubles as trying to find a job is ridiculous in the US right now. Yet regarding your suspension, you already received insight from a moderator as to why you were actioned, and ranting on the forums is not going to help your situation. It is only going to get you in trouble here, too.

You get an automated response when you submit a ticket, acknowledging that blizzard received it. Beyond that, if you got a response to the ticket itself, that would be a Game Master. However, when it comes to account actions, you can’t argue your case with a live agent for obvious reasons.

My thoughts – If your ban is about to finish, just move on.
This is good advice if your ban still had time to go.

There is a perfect phrase from Judge Judy that applies to almost 99% of the postings in here about bans: “But if not for your own actions.”

If the suspensioin is legitimate. There are the rare cases where a suspension should not have happened, but did. That is what the appeals process is for. If the suspension was in error, then it is rectified, and the black mark is removed from your account. Black marks stay forever on your account otherwise and lead to harsher and harsher penalties, so if you are actioned in error, even if it fully goes through before your appeal, it is always best to get that black mark removed.

They are enforcing the rules that have existed since 2004 BECAUSE they care.

I 100% agree. If the ban/suspension was made in error of course, appeal it.
