Just deleted it like any other epic item.
It’s next to worthless in PvP, so it’s of no concern.
Apparently it’s much worse than similar ilvl items in PvE, as well, being outperformed by high ilvl ~500 rings even.
I’ll probably ‘re-create’ my ring, when 6 weeks have passed, because it’s apparently involved in a questline that allows you to fly on the island.
Afterwards, I’ll go delete it again.

Why would you want a pve item to work in pvp? It being bad is a great thing
The Stamina boost is great…if you’re a tank…
It adds 5% healing and dps for me. Definitely not worthless.
I’ve read that it’s kinda timegated and that the gems currently available for it aren’t the ones a lot of players are interested in, but that the ones they are aren’t too bad. Sounds rather short-sighted to deem an item that’s technically incomplete at the moment as ‘bad’, but here’s the attention you were craving when you made this thread.

I destroyed my delver’s dirigible! Wasn’t a big fan of an oak barrel shopping cart.
These things can still be restored with the item restoration service, sadly.
There have been reports the siming is off on this ring and it’s much better than you think. Raiding on my monk last night people were reporting very high numbers on the current selection of gems. I would real world test it yourself before just deleting it. The healing gem alone would be interesting to test in mythic +.

Isn’t the ring supposed to be a catch up item for people with low geared characters?
For a fresh 80, or someone who didn’t even hit ilvl 600 yet, the ring is defintely a big boon.
The ring is equal to a 575 ring. So if a player has a ring >=576 then it will not be an upgrade.
Also it is not a catch-up item, according to Blizzard it is supposed to be the best option until S2 heroic track rings.
I think that once the island is completely dead, they’ll buff the ring to make it 100% required like the ring/island from last expac.
The ring from the FR patch back in DF was even dumber and weaker than this new one. I deleted mine during DF and completely ignored all the stone power thingies for it whenever they dropped.
it varies a bit between specs, but raw power wise it is dozens of ilevels behind its stated ilevel given the gems available this week, all so Blizzard can time gate gems and ilevel boosts that may eventually get the power near the stated ilevel.
i mean its going to be an upgrade for pretty much everyone once all the gems are out and its upgraded.
