I destroyed Cyrce's Circlet

OP you’re doomed now. That ring was going to be the key to our player housing.

You can sleep on my sofa for a week or two, but that’s all. I don’t trust goblins in my home, near my women or on my tractor.

I deleted it but I’m still wearing it. How wonderful

I was there, Gandalf. I was there three thousand years ago. I was there the day the strength of goblins failed…

I took the ring into an Ashran. On the details addon it averaged from .9% to 1.2% of my healing. Just a holy priest spamming heals everywhere. 1% is what you would expect from an embelishment. I wont be taking it into randoms or blitz but for epic bgs its 100% worth wearing as a healer.

If you look at the ring’s potential secondary stat gems you’ll see that it’s either worse than or equal to the secondaries currently available from current rings. I think it’s actually worse but I don’t have the numbers in front of me to confirm. Also, they seem to balance all things the same way-- The secondaries are 2% more damage, or you can have a proc that does 2% more damage; sometimes it’s a small amount over a short period of time or other times it’s one big amount but rarely. Sometimes it’s spread out among many mobs or sometimes it’s single target. Overall, however, it’s all 2%. And so far that’s exactly what this ring looks like it’s going to be. Each gem is going to add about 2.5% or whatever that magic number is. What you’re really getting out of the deal is a higher item level ring so you get higher average item level, more stamina, and slightly more secondary stats (or their convoluted gems but straight secondaries would probably, honestly, be better and more controllable).

They’re afraid to let things be OP and fun so they do that stupid method of balancing things. It’s all 2.5%.

The ring is kinda lack luster from the start. Why is it missing primary stats like strength, int, agility like other rings? Without a primary stat is makes it kinda weak.

When are they going to learn that they need to have stats on these rings. So far, it has half stats (you can get your highest stat on it)

If they had made a ring with full stats, and a smaller special effect, it would have been really popular even at 626 or 639

You would also need to compute what the loss is from the stats that you are dropping. You might get 2% from the proc but lose 3% from the loss of stats. For healing it would be a lot harder to determine.

What a rebel…

No rings have primary stats.

Turns out it unlocks a flying ship mount, like the wakestrider one or whatever. Just reskinned a bit to more resemble a galley. You know, like the ones in that old old movie where the sirens were calling them onto the rocks.

Sucks to be you.

Seems short sighted. The intention is for it to be BiS, Blizzard has not been shy about that. Some gems are not available yet.

I suspect if it continues to be weak it will be buffed (again).

it will be OP for a week then nerfed by the end

Yay the characters I don’t want to play could get a ring upgrade!

Oh, wait. Even the characters I don’t really want to play have better.

Taking off a ring completely is a roughly 6-7% loss if your gear’s all the same ilvl.
