I derped up and cancelled 40 or so character upgrades

Late night, long day. I thought now that pre-patch is here I will try the upgrade system on each of the characters. I looked at the warning then crashed and then forgot what the warning fully said aka I thought hitting continue means I would upgrade without realizing there was a feature on the left side of the screen.

I screwed 40 or so characters. TWW about alts and using lots of characters and such and it seems I ruined the entire point of that. Some my characters have like ilvl 20 gear when their suppose to have like 150…

There anything blizzard can do or am I just screwed?

No, I never did the upgrade on all 40 I accidently skipped them all. That is the issue.

If you hit Continue to skip the update there’s nothing that can be done, unless you want to wait for another upgrade.
If you have the gold, there’s usually cheap gear on the Auction House, or questing can get you easy gear if you don’t have heirlooms.

Thanks, Are these upgrades something they set themselves or is it timed based?

They are time based. You’ll get the option if you haven’t logged into the character for 60+ days.
