I definitely finally realize why everyone is quitting M+

Yes, it’s a problem. By design, a tank shouldn’t be able to solo bosses. And, if that’s good design, why not let everyone be able to solo bosses? Like Remix was that way.

Then you also wouldn’t need tanks or healers.

Tanks want to be elevated as the sole role that doesn’t need anyone else.

I’m curious to know, have you tried making your own group? How’d it go? Like if you can’t get into any group the obvious answer would be to make your own.

People are 2600io and dont know not to stand in stuff, interupts are more important than dps as is utility in clutch moments. The 9-11 range is an absolute crapshoot, and could take you hours and hours of up one key down one key due to the wow playerbase being awful and thinking theyre bettter than they are. Most people belong in 6-7’s max. Not to mention how many tanks dont understand that you need to pick up the pace to clear 11’s and beyond, and stop with the pull each pack, kill, reset, repeat.

They don’t want to risk their own key while not realizing others are risking theirs.

Recognizing keys aren’t sacred is the first step.

As others have said, it’s crazy that you’re scraping the ceiling from pugs. You need to get some standard guild groups formed for key pushes specifically. There are countless guilds attempting to do this. I don’t understand why people sit in queues and don’t think, “Hey why don’t I set up some dedicated time for this on a regular schedule with some good players I like playing with.”

How are you supposed to learn the mechanics that appear in M+ if every other content outside of M+ either does not have those mechanics (Normal and Heroics), or the mechanics are ignored because the content is that easy (M0 pre-DF S4)?

Tying your worth in this game to this mode is insanity at its finest.

You get what? 13ilvl and for what? To raid at the same sweaty level?

Purples are purples. Numbers never mattered unless you have a dopamine addiction.

If the entire games numerical system was changed from hard numbers shown to percentile amounts no one would have fun as a dps dealing out crits that are 1%.

But everyone woots when they hit a move for 3-5 million damage, that actually doesnt move their health bar.

Too much entitlement.

I’m not a M+ player, infact, I think I tried them once, when they were first introduced, so I do not really have a right to complain about them, but seeing all the anger and complaints about them, I hope Blizzard is listening and fixes them.

M+ Players, and PvPer’s are the last stronghold that is holding this game together in my opinion. (RP people have a strong showing too, but people can RP a broke game with no issues) PVE has gone so far down hill, I’m not sure it can make a come back, all though, the story telling in TWW is 100% better than the last to Xpac’s, (in my opinion).

What level of key is enough to do to reach KSM? For the first time I like the KSM mount. It’s just stupidly hard to form a group and to get into group.

I dropped out of M+ this season because, to put it simply, they are hellbent on making it a difficult experience instead of a fun one.

You can have a fun gameplay mode that is still challenging. As of now, the affixes only exist to be hurdles. They tried the kiss/kill direction of affixes but the mark was missed by a long shot. Only one affix gives a kiss effect and it’s taken away at +12. The other affixes are only there to make your life harder.

Do better, Blizzard. This is a video game at the end of the day. People log in to have fun.

It’s because of poorly informed people. Too many websites with too much contradictory information because, shocker, they are all made by players who do what I do…I just don’t shout it to the universe by begging people to pay attention to my guide…I just figure my own game out. I theorycraft right up there with the best of them.

Too much misinformation, too much bad information, too many people don’t know what a group composition is, they don’t understand how ilvl works. For instance, a friend of mine is 605 and is pushing into M+7s and higher. I am 610 and can’t get invited. Every week I get declined no less than 50+ times. Even making my own group as a healer, one slight mistake from the dps and the tank leaves or somehow it’s my fault that the tank pulled everything and got squashed because they were effectively out of range of literally everybody in the party…so they bail, wasted key, wasted an hour of my time looking or trying to join, travel time, waiting to actually start…all just for them to bail and screw everybody over.

Seriously, again, I can’t even get into +3s half the time because apparently I am supposed to have an actually impossible ilvl in the wrong difficulty. THey seem to expect me to have a 615 ilvl or higher and thats just not possible unless I get invited to get the appropriate crests to get the items upgraded or new items in the first place.

THe M+ scene is tearing itself apart because people are lazy, greedy, or misinformed, or…sorry, sometimes they are just plain dumb. I’ve done it, you’ve done it, they’ve done it. We have all been stupid at some point or another lol, often multiple points HA!
The difference is that there is about 1/3 of the poplulation that understands how things work, and the rest are just looking for a carry with their logic of “well imma invite the 620 over the 610” because apparently that 10 ilvl is going to end the entire game and you will never get a key done…
meanwhile I will remind you and anybody still reading that there are people in 600 ilvl gear running +5s and up…

You can do M+2 with 590 gear for Thrall’s sake!

The vast majority cannot relate to this.

first, that requires getting invited. you can’t meet cool new people without getting invited to a group. you can’t form a group with nobody…it all hinges on the invite. To a guild or a group. And most guilds are genuinely useless, some people are on servers with more useless guilds than useful, some people don’t like forming groups like that.
The problem is that people are dumb and don’t understand how to make a group and just get it done. They think its okay to demand an ilvl 15 points higher than theirs because they want carried. It’s all over. I’ve even sat in as a healer reading the insane crap people type while finding a group. Dude literally admitted he wasn’t going “to take a low ilvl scrub because I don’t want to carry”…they were 593 and labeled their group as " 620 min".
Be wary of any group that has the ilvl requirement in the title. It almost always means they don’t have the required ilvl themselves and as such can’t set the requirement that high. Just pass those groups by.

All 2700+ group, bricked a 11 COT because healer doesnt believe in clearing affix, AT ALL. Another 35 minutes of my time wasted. All dps at 2m overall. This is mind numbing, make 11 drop mythic gear.

Yeah but once S2 hits can buy that in the blizz cash shop too.

2800 is high I’d take the rest of the season off. Plenty of things to get into

It’s a combination of the delves taking most of m+ away, the reward vs difficulty of m+ not worth it, the dungeons are reused boredom and we have been doing this same m+ bs for most of wows 20 year history.

Couple in that hero talents didn’t make any exciting builds, classes are being changed weekly making people just quit and the massive amount of bugs is overwhelming.

Mythic plus was always doomed to failed. Its timed content with affixes that have to be refreshed and changed every so often as to not be too stall and repeatable. This means we are bound to hit some terrible seasons.

Finding the balance between a challenge and overkill while changing up the challenge every season isnt easy. U miss the mark and things are too easy and people complain. U go to hard and its hell and people.complain.

Blizz has a track record for terrible balancing. And that alone shouldve made people realize mythic + was gonna suck. Add a timer that makes people more stressed and leave after the first or second wipe and its toxic city.

It had a good run but people are terrible.
