No. They were separate thoughts. Also. Everyone who cooks frequently has had a pot boil over on them, especially professionals. So…I have to assume these people do not actually cook because claiming a pot boiling over is dangerous is absurd. Cleaning up the baked on mess is annoying, however.
Learn to AFK correctly
When I see you post, I hear a lady from New Zealand screaming, “Warrior!” in a thick accent.
Hot damn, just when you think Shreds can’t get any dumber they just have to go and prove us wrong. Next they’re going to tell us the benefits of touching a hot stove burner, and why the pot grates shouldn’t time gate us from touching the actual fire.
Get a wireless keyboard with a shoulder strap. Then you never have to be AFK again.

once upon a time, taking a short break would be finding a nook or nanny, hitting a keybind that put me in shadowmeld, and my cat in stealth… but we grew to 14 toons.
these days, same nook and nanny, and I log off… takes seconds… I perfer to log now, to preserve my buffs… food, flasks, etc…

You act as if hitting log out is a chore. You can hit the button, it takes 20 seconds, and you’re good to go. It takes you to the character screen, where you can pick up on your journey once you’re ready. Is this really what we’re complaining about today?

I like to hover above the ground. Considering you can do that easily everywhere except the maw, korthia, and bfa (assuming no pathfinder) it really does work the majority of the time. I wouldn’t trust myself afk in the maw though, so there’s that. Good thing there’s easy and abundant rest areas.

Why not? Why not just quit and come back? It’s faster to restart than it is to corpse run. You’re not going to miss anything you weren’t going to miss anyway.
Don’t even have to “quit”, just “log out”. Hit “OK”, leave while the 20s ticks down and…you’re done.

Don’t afk near a mob. Problem solved. You can even hearth while going to put out that real life fire.

As a fellow potato user, I understand the frustration of how long it takes to log in. I still exit the game every time I leave my pc.
