I need help getting better gear i cant get pass 1200 please help me!

Thing is you won’t get better gear unless you’re carried if you only play 2v2. Why? If you play 2s w/ a another 200 ilvl player they can’t deal enough damage against a geared RBGer who is hardstuck 1400 hybrid healer + dedicated healer in 2s. There’s just not enough damage for a 200 ilvl player to blow through a high ilvl ret/boomkin/enhance + healer.
I’m not trying to discourage you nor am I complaining, just being honest.

that aint true with 190 ilvl you can easily get to 1400
the hard part is from 1400 to 1600 were you see alot of 226 people.
keep playing and dont get frustrated. Also dont tank your rating playing with people that is way worse than you, there are lot of people geareing up alts try sticking with them and ask for advice ( when i got to 1400 iw as playing with a destro lock with 180 ilvl and i had 197 in those games i kinda learned a lot try doing that 
)
at that rating you dont ahve the skill to carry people (and yes im including my self int hat statement)
if you get “carried” to 1400 the only thing that would happend is him droping rating when he get geared.
and yes im still bad at the game but still trying to improve

Im 1333 can somone please help me to 1400 i just want to upgrade the gear i have.

I’m 200 ilvl on my monk and I got 1400 with some disc who’s never played pvp before no problem.

My point is that it’s not gear that’s the issue. If you do not want to grow as a player, that’s on you. You are not entitled to rating. If you want to get better gear, put in effort to become a better player.
ive been playing since jan i got to 1400 when gear was the same ilvl i have been going down ever since. i can’t get to 1400 ive been trying and trying.

i got to 1367 then guess wut i lose 5 in row and went back down to 1297 or something im glad you can get to 1400 eazy im new is that okay with you?
Then try something different; playing with another partner, different talents. You can upgrade your legendary and enchants, too.
Yea, man, we all have to start somewhere, but you shouldn’t go about just blaming your gear and saying it’s impossible because of your gear. There’s ways you can improve outside of your gear.
Then why did i get to 1400 ezy when everyone was the same geared?
there’s quite a few reasons. You were playing better, your partners were playing better, enemies were worse, you got lucky, etc etc etc. There’s no definite answer I can give you.

12/13/20 is when i got combatant i took a break and leveled more characters then came back and ever since then ive been in the 1200’s. Im not saying im best player but i have gotten to 1400 i need help getting back there because my gear is bad and im getting hit really hard.
I was talking specifically about 2v2 and not just 1.4k. I have some 207 upgrades myself but that’s from 3s where there are not as many cheese comps.

Yea, so was I. My monk has only queued 2v2 this season so far. What’s your point? Blaming gear is silly.
Yea gear isn’t a problem when full 226 then come to a newb post and start saying pvp is easy and gearing isnt a problem and btw i said nothing about gear i said i needed help to 1400. But since you made it about gear yea gearing is aboslutely unfair why do “pro’s” need the top gear? Theirs no pvp scaling or most people wouldnt care, they took away pvp scaling and made gear locked behind rating so they could sell more boost plain in simple. Im not buying a boost i rather spend my money on other games and atm it looks like i will.
