My corpse does not show on the map. If I go to where I died I do not get a “rez now” popup. There is no indication on the minimap that I am dead and have a corpse to return to. If I do a “character stuck” I am still dead. No, I don’t want to pay a carpton of gold to do a spirit rez.
What spirit are you going to? I don’t believe they charge you any gold.
At least, not that I recall in at least the last ten years of playing. Just a temporary stat debuff as resurrection sickness.
You take durability damage on every piece of gear in your bag and must pay to repair it.
This may be the fastest solution at your disposal Boomdoggle. The Spirit Healer was implemented, in part, so that players had an in-game solution if for some reason they could not return to their corpse. I see you people on auto-run that die in the great sea during a bathroom break
I killed the game and the red arrow appeared on the minimap. I suspect it had something to do with some exploit by a group of players we were fighting, as I wasn’t the only one unable to rez after the fight.
Hrm, it’s possible then that there was a shared UI issue or perhaps some sort of problem transitioning between phases.
Glad to see that restarting the client was sufficient though! If it happens again, please submit a bug report using the in-game form so the QA team has your character info.
Yeah thats a lot of time fishing to get that much carp.
I will see myself out now
Joking aside, if you don’t want to spirit rez, perhaps log out for about 35 minutes or so. Perhaps the system just needs time to reset itself in regards to you. If that does not work, you might need to fish up some carp to pay the healer though.
Edit: And I see a restart fixed it for you. Glad to hear.
If you die and can’t retrieve your corpse for whatever reason, you can run out to fatigue waters, “die” again, then go and collect your newly formed corpse.* You still take the 10% durability loss for dying to PvE events, but at least it’s not the 25% to everything in your bags and 10 minutes of rez sickness!
*Disclaimer: Does not work in Outland, Nazjatar, Argus, or any other open world area where you cannot commit (in-game) sudoku via fatigue waters.
