I can't play with a friend in Wrath

It says that he has a different version of the game and I cant invite him to the party. Eventhough we are in the same server we played yesterday. and we both are in the same version of the game

Same problem, no solution though.

Same here, you’ll have to invite manually with /invite in order to get it done. Apparently it’s been like this for a few weeks before prepatch.

I had the same problem, but you can invite anyone with /invite name
