They want you to play Dragonflight.

Dragonflight? You kidding me? That dumpster fire ??? They want us all playing D4…. Everyone knows that classic playerbase is a prime candidate for Diablo 4…. Retail WoW went after the younger generation of players that woefully rejected most of it in favor of Final Fantasy… get your facts straight.

Worked for us back in the day too when they released D3…

How do you figure? FFXIV feels completely different from Dragonflight. And what does that have to do with the “younger generation”? You mean the younger generation prefers more refined and well designed systems?

more than half of retail is day 1 vanilla players or at some older expac start like wrath. sunk cost argument…goes here.

After the wod massive drop off especially.

any spikes on expac releases are usually people going okay…1 more try. I can give them a month or 6.

wake up level caps of old expac, take them for a spin…maybe stay a bit. or not.

DF did not sell as well as SL or BFA prior (blizzard even admitted that). so even “1 more time sales hook” did not not pan out like it used to it seems.

if they got more “young players” it did not beat out bitter vets who left. And did not come back lol.

I tried playing some retail, got a character to level 50 surprisingly quickly. It’s kind of boring compared to Classic WOW, and not just the game play (some of it isn’t so bad, reminded me of SWTOR) but the writing. I levelled some other characters a bit to 20 in different previous expansions and it’s all pretty bad. What I found interesting is that the introductory quests are actually really good. WOD, Legion, BFA, the stakes all seem super high and engaging. However after that it’s fairly boring with certain moments that stand out.

For someone who LARPs as the champion of Azeroth in the main story (not my choice, the story’s choice), most everyone I interact with is pretty boring and in some instances, doing chores for them feels like a waste of time. It made me love Classic more.

They. Do. Not. Care.

The guys in charge are there to collect a pay check and do the bare minimum. This “bots make them money” is complete and utter nonsense. The guys working there day-to-day do not care about quarterly profits. They get their paycheck and go home. It’s a job to them not a passion.

You will win every game! Bots are terrible players. I won 25 battle grounds in a row two days ago when I played last

Sounds like retail is overrun with bots too, but in any case, this is the wrath forum.
:axe:

The only thing that makes a difference is ending your sub and stating why. Blizz is a soulless entity designed only to make money, and they only understand money.

I treat bgs like 5 man dungeons now. Only do bgs with a full group. Reduces the chance of getting bots mostly in WSG obviously since it’s only 10 players. Still unacceptable but it’s only thing you can really do at this point until blizz decides to do something about it.

Come to Ally, most of the bots are on Horde

I remember them dropping down in EoE chilling for as sec to get sorted, mounting up, and then then ridding straight for mid. Naked and dead in 3 hits. And repeat. If I got lucky there were so many bots that we’d lose in a flat 5 mins and 5 secs. +200 honor and +36k exp. I’d just focus on that.

It’s pretty rough out there.

Bump, did 5 BGs today trying to get my 25 arena points and every single game was 70%+ bots.

This seems to be true. See you on Bene!

The game is now, which side has fewer bots

I killed a string of them riding in unison… was wonderful honor… I say let them keep them.
