I can't fly anymore as a Dracthyr!

I got to level 20 and now I can’t fly as a Dracthyr with my own wings anymore! I prefer it over mounts as it is faster (and more fun) but Soar just tosses me up instead of take off like before.

There’s this Flight Style: Steady that from what I understand, I need to complete the entirety of Dragonflight to switch and only then be allowed to fly like before. There is no spell to swtich in my mount menu or my spellbook.

Dont you still need ro be lvl 30 to fly.

I don’t know. Until I gotten level 20, I was able to fly normally.

I just got back to playing WoW since I just now heard that Dragonflight was free and this really bummed me out.

No. We can fly at level 10 with Skyriding. Then at level 20 we can switch to Steady Flight.

No, steady flying is unlocked at level 20 where skyriding is unlocked at level 10.

Open up the mount journal, and try switching flight modes. See if that fixes up to fly.

Nope, I did that because I read it was where the option was.
The only glimpse of an answer I got was a reddit post where I got this.

It’s currently bugged, you should get access to skyriding/dragon riding/dynamic flight at level 10, but if you haven’t previously unlocked it through the DF campaign, you don’t. I ran into this on my other account last week.
You need to go to waking shores and keep doing the campaign until you unlock dragonriding about halfway into the zone. Or create a new MOP TW character and unlock dragonriding there, which is faster.

Apparently it’s a common bug that has been around since August.

Well, best thing to do is keep reporting it to the bug report forums. Nothing more can be done here in Customer Support forums.
