Mine went poof and the only thing I did was offer some harsh criticism of Blizzard’s game that was not even moderated, but all of the sudden no more pictures allowed. The last picture I posted was a Bambam meme when someone in the warrior forum asked why haste was good for prot, again still up, so it was not from abusing the privilege.
I’ve gotten the ability to post trusted links back, wowhead and such, but that seems as far as it goes.
My guess is you said the wrong thing about something a capricious moderator cared about and they nailed you for it. The moderators of this forum themselves need some moderation, but I don’t expect that as long as they keep the biased moderation as low key as they are.

- Go down the the bottom of the page where you see the link to “new topics”, and click to see the list.
- Click on the first topic, scroll down a couple posts.
- Flick your mouse wheel to the left to go to the previous page. The topic you just visited should be gone and replaced by the next in line.
- Repeat the above three steps as you work your way through all the new topics that you’ve now “read”.
Find long running topics created within the last three months:
- Click on the topic, then click your centre mouse button down, and move the mouse enough to let it auto-scroll down, not too fast until it’s done the topic. Repeat until you have scrolled enough to meet the 20,000 posts read. New “lounge” topics are great for this, but they must be newer than three months.
If you’ve had a silence recently, you can’t regain TL3 until 1 year from the time it expired.
You need to have visited fifty of the last 100 days.

Yes, I switched characters now hoping to rebuild with a new one.
I had a main on here for ever. No negatives, hundreds of read hours, all the required days visited. And the character’s trust level dropped from TL3 when they removed people who had gotten it with Beta Access. Only, I had it before Beta access.
No matter what I did I couldn’t regain it on the character that lost it during that purge.
I am hoping switching up forum characters can earn it back. Still working on it though.

I had rank 3 before but then I didn’t post here for a few months and it was gone when I returned. I should’ve gained rank 3 again a long time now compared to when I did it the first time, so I really idk. I imagine now that I race and name changed this character, it’ll take even longer.

Just being able to post photos is extremely useful when you’re trying to help show somebody something in the game they can’t find, or show a screenshot of a problem in the game that you want to discuss.
Or even just show your transmog!

Indeed, I see the reasoning behind the security measures which I assume would be to gatekeep trolls and malicious links, but in doing so they just make it obnoxious for the community as a whole to help each other with images or simply post a humorous image.
Have you asked in CS how far you are from reaching it? Vrak and Orlyia have helped people with that before.

In 2024 we shouldn’t have to put in a CS request for this. We should have a dashboard in our profile that shows what’s going on. Heck, I could probably even code it for them. Wowhead shows how many comments were liked, etc. And they’re still on some 2010 web technology over there, lol.
