When I enter any Delve I can not heal myself. When I am outside the delve everything is ok using Exhilaration and Potions. Just this one player, called ERAN, All my other players are fine.
What did I do to change this? How do I change it back so I can heal?
Is this the level 80 Hunter on Hellscream?
Nothing obviously off in the Armory about that character. As a BM, you’re gonna have only two heals at most: Exhilaration and Spirit Beast Heal, if you’re running a Spirit Beast, which the armory says you’re not.
What’s happening when you try to cast Exhilaration? I run this MM hunter in Tier 11 delves several times a week and Exhilaration has never let me down.
Fine. But that does not tell me how to fix the problem I am haveing
As Sniperorc asked above, what happens when you press Exhilaration? We can’t help troubleshoot if you don’t provide the error.
Nothing happens when I press the button. It stops working when I entr the Delve. Healing is ok when I leave the delve.
Does it give an error message? Does it go on cooldown?
What happens if you target yourself first then hit the button?
So that means SOMETHING specific to the delve is making you think it does not work, or is disabling it. You need to figure out what. It is either a Delve mechanic or a Bran Mechanic.
I put it into Google and the AI fed me this… Take it with a sack of salt because AI is wrong a lot. It does seem likely that at least part of this is right though and may help you troubleshoot your issue.
Hunters in World of Warcraft’s Delves
should be able to use Exhilaration to heal themselves. However, there are factors that might make it seem like Exhilaration is disabled or ineffective.
Here’s why you might be experiencing issues:
- Healing Reduction Effects: Some enemies in Delves might apply debuffs that reduce the amount of healing you receive. This is often referred to as a “Mortal Strike” effect, a common mechanic in World of Warcraft found in various forms across different classes and enemy types.
- Delve Specific Mechanics: Certain Delves may have unique mechanics that impact healing. For example, some may require you to stand in specific areas to receive full healing benefits.
- Overhealing: Exhilaration provides an instant burst of healing. If you use it when your health is already high, a portion of the heal might be “overhealing,” meaning it doesn’t contribute to your effective health gain.
- Brann’s Abilities: In Delves, Brann Bronzebeard acts as a companion and his abilities can sometimes be more of a hindrance than a help, particularly at lower levels. While not directly disabling Exhilaration, Brann’s mismanagement of aggro or poorly timed abilities could indirectly affect your ability to effectively heal or survive, making it feel like Exhilaration isn’t working as it should.
What you can do
- Check for Debuffs: Always be aware of any debuffs on your character that might be reducing your healing received. These are typically listed near your character frame.
- Delve Mechanics: Familiarize yourself with the specific mechanics of each Delve you enter. Many guides exist online that detail each Delve’s unique challenges and how to overcome them.
- Optimal Timing: Use Exhilaration strategically when your health is low and you need a significant health boost, rather than using it preemptively and risking overhealing.
- Brann Management: Understand Brann’s abilities and try to utilize them to your advantage. For example, if Brann has a stun, use it to interrupt dangerous enemy casts that could lead to further damage.
By taking these factors into account and adapting your playstyle accordingly, you can ensure that Exhilaration remains a valuable tool for your Hunter in Delves.
I get no error when i hit the button. It doesn’t work in any delve I go into.
I go into 4or5 different ones.
Does it go on cooldown?
What happens if you manually target yourself first then hit the spell?
It does not cool down. It does nothing. Like it just stops working.
It is weared that it is just in delves.
I dont into dungeon’s’
.
I assume the “button” is one of the action bar buttons. Have you tried using it directly from the spell book?
Have you tried rebuilding your UI, if its not something the delve is preventing, iI would definitely suspect a UI issue? Some additional thoughts, as someone suggested use the spell out of the spell book, another option is try creating a macro for it, or if you have a macro for it, delete that macro and recreate it.
I have deleted it from the tool bar and replaces for the spellbook.
No change.
Have you rebuilt your UI, thats probably your next stop if you haven’t. If you don’t want to lose everything, you can rename the folders, instead of deleting them, and then if it doesn’t fix the problem put the original ones back.\
Good luck
I think it was Primal Rage a pet command. It seem to be working now
Further testing needed
That doesn’t make any sense.
Other than my mentioning Spirit Beast Heal, this is the first time any pet abilities got mentioned.
Oh, well, as long as you understand, it’s not especially important that any of us do.
I dont understand it either. I just glad its working again.
