I am now level 79 and the missions have not led me to khaz. I have abandoned all and now cannot even get to daloran I am stuck in ogrimar with the very first mission which I cannot complete because I can not get where I need to go. I have been trying for hours sharing my screen with my friends and no one understands why I am stuck at the very beginning mission.
There’s really not enough info here to go off. At the minimum, we’d need to know:
- At level 79, you should’ve already been questing in Khaz’algar. Did you leave the area and now you can’t get back?
- It isn’t clear what you mean by “very first mission”. Which quest are you on currently?
- If you have abandoned all quests, there could be a phasing issue going on. We would need to know the exact name of the quest you are stuck on.
- There should have been a pop-up once you hit 70 (possibly sooner). Did you abandon that quest as well?
In addition, can you provide the character name and realm so we can take a look to see where you left off? That will help us get you back on track.

My name is slickerus on moon runner. I purchased the upgrade to get to 70 and received most levels through raid xp. My character is stuck in Silithus, and Magni Bronzebeard is not offering the quest “A Dying World”, even though I’ve never completed it (checked via /run print(C_QuestLog.IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(53028)) which returns false).
I do not have the teleport to the Chamber of Heart, and I cannot start Vision of Azeroth or progress into The War Within / Khaz Algar content.
I am completely blocked — no quests, no portals, and nothing at the Embassy or Command Board. Please reset my quest phase or grant me “A Dying World” manually so I can continue.

That is a level 1 character who has never been logged into. Your level 79 character has a similar, but different name.
There may be some confusion, Ickerus, as the quest “A Dying World” is part of the Battle for Azeroth expansion, not the War Within. You wouldn’t qualify to pick up that quest because it doesn’t look like you have done any of that content.
From what I can see you had, but abandoned the quest “The Harbinger”. You should be able to get it back by going into your adventurer’s Guide and go to Suggested Content. If it is not there, you can usually find Khadgar’s Summons, which is an item sitting to the right of the path to the Orgrimmar Embassy. You should see the exclamation point on your map.
Note: It appears you started the Shadowlands introduction quest line, so you may need to finish that before you’ll be able to work on the War Within intro.

I apologize , the character name is trickerus And I completed the shadowlands mission but still do not know how to start the war within. I cant accept it from my adventure path, the npcs I’ve been told to look for in orgrimmar art there and I dont know what to do next.
You didn’t see a floating scroll where I indicated it was, Ickerus? To the right of the path to the Orgrimmar Embassy?

I SEE IT THE HARBINGER! I hope this gets me on the right path. When I logged in today I was automatically in a cinematic maybe completing the shadowlands missions was a pre-requisite? Either way I think this is the right direction? Thank you.
