I thought I’d just go into random battlegrounds like I did 7 years ago, kill some folks, have the top DPS, and move on with my day.
Instead, I am one-shot… every time. Is PvP not for lowbies anymore with quest gear? Do I need special high-level gear to play Warsong Gulch at level 30? What the HECKING FECK happened?
Are you playing in the XP-off group?
If so, then you’re playing against twinks who overly geared their characters at their level.
If you’re not, then idk. The game isn’t really balanced around low level PVP. It’s the upper levels that are a lot more balanced.
Well you have run into the new thing called party sync … where max level players if they choose can scale down to lower levels . Unfortunately the scaling does not work very well and I believe they still have their max level covenant abilities .
Missing the PVP Medallion in a bursty expansion means you are eating 100% of CC/Stun. BOA version is available along with Blue quest version from Thrallmar as a placeholder until getting the BOA.
Main stat is very strong, replace that Strength neck equipped with Intellect or Agility for Monk. (Int for MW, Agility for WW/BM.)
Versatility is the PVP Secondary stat that effects Damage/Healing power, more importantly it reduces damage taken by %. Check PVP vendors.
Windwalker monk is very strong.
7 years maybe you’re just rusty.
Your gear is weak. Good gear takes ungodly amounts of time to grind while leveling. Meanwhile high levels are using party sync to run premades coordinated in discord. The only time there’s a fair game is when there’s no premades on either side.
just pretend youre a demon hunter and put a blindfold over your dominant eye until youve practiced with both of youre eyes closed enough to discern pvp through sound alone. thats what i do sometimes
