Yet the Horde being an aggressive faction (either this Horde, or the Hordes of the past) has NEVER ended up in a positive way for us. The First War was a disaster for the Orcish Horde (rendering their planet destroyed and stranded on a hostile planet, hellbent on punishing them for the crimes they committed while under the influence of Fel). The Second War left the Orcish survivors destitute, broken, and in despair (with Doomhammer dying realizing the horrors his actions instilled upon his people). The War led by the “True Horde” was no different … and the Blood War is looking to be equally disastrous for a group of people that supposedly rallied together for self-preservation.
What you’re essentially suggesting is … Sylvanas (the least representative representative of the Horde) remain in charge so we can remain an edgy, ineffectual, weak antagonist to the Alliance (who constantly is forced to play the aggressors in wars we KNOW we cannot possibly win; because the Alliance isn’t even operating in the same Genre of fantasy as the Horde anymore).
That Horde died with Vol’jin. Also, with the addition on the worgens, void elves and draenei, Thrall little description of the Horde fits the Alliance just as much as the Horde now.
Okay, we had one single zone in the entire expansion where the Alliance defeats us and Sylvanas betrays us.
Forgive my mistake.
They killed humans simply for being in Ashenvale.
The Eredar are a galactic super power. How is that any different than the Horde being a world power, other than technology, magical power, etc?
Your lack of willingness to answer my question suggests to me that you’re lying. I played both factions in WotLK. I don’t remember this at all unless you mean the airships, which fired at eachother.
It was Sylvanas being Sylvanas.
::Zerde characteristically ignores canon lore to support his incorrect argument.::
You mean the rebellion that required Saurfang to act out-of-character to make this garbage plot work and the game has to repeatedly insist he’s the minority opinion?
I don’t either.
They have this fantastical idea of the Orcs and no matter what they do they try to justify it or minimize it just to make them into a green humans.
It’s all well and good that you say you want the differences to no longer be a weakness, but what changes do you want to make and still have your hallmark be freedom?
What differences need to change besides the Warchief position in your mind?
I think your the one ignoring things. The Horde as Thrall envisioned it is dead. Maybe it will revive itself once Sylvanas is deposed but as of right now the lore is people are following Sylvanas(at the very least enough of them to make it a point that their war campaign have detractors and outright loyalist to Sylvanas)
