My favorite part, is you can tell Mage Tower made people lose interest in WoW (like me, I’ve been on maybe 15 minutes in the past week) because I logged in to buy the toy from the Ironforge Vendor, and Ironforge was empty.
Let’s be real. Even if they made those changes, it wouldn’t quell the complaining by any meaningful amount.
Removing DPS checks entirely won’t magically fix anything. Until people do the mechanics, they won’t beat the tower. LFR and the crusade for more casual content has taught the player base that mechanics are largely optional. The mage tower is the opposite end of the spectrum and a rude wake-up call.
I’m a clown for stating facts that the challenges have been done with current expac gear and consumables? I’m a clown for letting people know there are guides and in some cases/threads directly linking guides to help? I’m a clown for providing a discussion thread in DK sub forum to help players who are actually looking to improve play or strategy? I’m a clown for making suggestions when a poster actually spends time to make a rational post about issues they’re having and seeking help?
I’m sorry I don’t think the MT skins should be handout for logging in. And I guess in direct response if you’re going to assume all the outrage is at the felbear skin, why should players who don’t know much about guardian druid, have no time spent, or even played it at all get a free skin for no effort.
The only clown in this case is you. For the thousandth time, players who come to the forums and whine without any self reflection, throw blame without seeking assistance (only twink gear works, I have to spend millions of gold on gear/consumes), and in general just throw a fit because they’re throwing themselves at a brick wall without thinking, don’t really deserve help, and to complete the challenges imo.
If we go back to Legion days, where you can kill Horrors before they even get their cast off if you get on them right away, you’ll be much more easily about to save orbs for P2, which means you’ll be able to stretch out the annihilates better. It will also help in removing the need more casual players have for Heart of the Wild and give you another Kruul “interrupt” with Mighty bash.
You’d be surprised what a slight nerf to add health can have as a butterfly effect to the rest of the fight.
There is no shortage of posts recently about the inconvenience and apparent difficulty of creating and using macros. The root of the problem is not solely tied to health pools. If a need to add health is needed, have at but don’t think that will stop the posts.
Nope, you’re a clown for defending overtuned content when its been mathematically proven to be overtuned as opposed to Legion MT.
The Guardian challenge could be nerfed 50% and it would still be difficult because it should be about mechanic management, not how many pots and enchants you can blow to burst down this boss in your TANK challenge.
Show me the video of you clearing the Guardian Mage tower with full, Shadowlands gear and 0 enchants and consumables aimed at the specific challenge and then we can talk about it being largely a mechanics thing and not a broken dps check.
