If you cant beat them, join them.

I run with queue sync groups in Epics, we’re not in comms most of the time. All leadership is generally done via /RW.
And if we are, we’re usually just listening to each other’s music.
The point is you should not be allowed to group in more than 5 people in a BG period. Its an exploit that should be removed.

You get into groups, you tell everyone in your community that you’re queueing, you type into chat: 3, 2, 1, Q.
All the group leads click Q at the same time.

You can stomp your foot about it all you want.
Wonder why the addon hasn’t been broken then, because that’s what people use.
What addon?
AFAIK, there is no addon which automates queues.
Blizzard changed the API to prevent addons from accessing the queue window, it requires a hardware event, like a keystroke or mouse click.
Or are you ignorantly talking about Battleground Commander? It doesn’t do what you’re asserting it does.
I used to use it for RBGs, it’s good for Arena too if you’re not the leader.
I understand there is a great deal of mental gymnastics going on as to why they disabled raid Que and why you now need to Que sync which causes games to start short in order to do the same thing.
But uh they disabled it cause they don’t want you to do it.

They disabled the addons, but not the syncing.
In the same way that they disabled the multiboxing addons, but you’re still allowed to multibox.
It’s the automation that they don’t want people doing, clearly doing things manually is fine, or it would also be against the rules.
It always amazes me that they disabled raid queues but we’re supposed to believe finding a way to get your raid in anyway is fine. It’s almost like you’re not supposed to bring one in…

I’m not entirely sure that they did, as such…
The only thing I see from the patch changes is that they added a new feature:
Patch 3.3.3 (2010-03-23):
- The Random Battleground system has been added! Similar to the Random Dungeon system in the Dungeon Finder, players can now queue for a random Battleground.
- The Random Battleground option will only allow a group size of 5 players to queue together.
It doesn’t say anything about not allowing or preventing queue syncing in any way.
Blizzard clearly knew about queue syncing, before the change, since the new feature was released ~2 years after the bluetracker post above.
Spare me your semantics. Go form a raid group and try to queue for EBGs or random BGs. We both know what I’m talking about.

While this may be true it may lead to an actionable environment.
Semantics are important when we’re using the written word.
How so? It isn’t exploiting, it isn’t cheating, these complaint threads have been happening for most of 20 years, and there are still communities and guilds queue syncing.
When does it become actionable?
When Blizzard changes the rules?
Ok then, don’t mind me if I don’t hold my breath.
They are also important to people who are trying to rationalize having an unfair and unintended advantage.
Go form a raid group to try to queue for EBGs or random BGs. Report back with your findings.

It’s not unfair, you can do it too.
If I decide to disable chat, do I then get to claim that you have an unfair advantage because you’re using the tools available to you?
Hirav is one of those people who likes to continue pushing luck.
There were people who abused a kickbot macro with the same pov "oh blizzard hasn’t done anything to me yet so ill just take it further and further.
