I have spent the last 45 minutes trying to prove that I am not a robot. Both of my accounts are affected. It happened soon after I pre-purchased Dragonflight. Okay, my vision is not the greatest, I get it, but this is ridiculous. I am 73 years old and I require glasses. I can barely see well enough to drive. C’mon, give me a break.

Im not exactly sure what the issue is im not aware of it asking if u are a robot.
I log on, enter my password and am told that I cannot be authenticated with that information. Then a sqiggly code appears and I’m told to replicate it. Sorry, I just can’t see well enough to enter the letters properly. Over and over again. This gets old very quickly.
The captcha is used as one of the security check mechanisms in place. I have never actually seen it myself, but know it exists.
Normally what triggers a security check is a change in geographical location, IP change, hardware change, login pattern change, etc. It is to prevent account compromise.
I don’t know a way around the captcha though. Maybe a Blue (actual Blizzard staff) can comment on it.
I believe that captcha also has an audio component for those that can not read the items. It will pronounce all letters and numbers that you can then type into the input box.

!!! That would be fantastic if true. I had no idea that was even a thing. I have yet to see the Blizz captcha so far.

Dang! I know that the captcha used for unemployment in my working state has that option. Sorry to hear that you did not find one on the Blizzard set up.
I clicked on “Canot Complete Captcha.” Attempted to log in to both my accounts and bless my soul if I wasn’t able to log in. That’s all I did, nothing more. I don’t know what happened, but I’m back in playing again. I bought the Heroic edition and was able to access the level 60 boost, two pet and two mounts. Whoo hooo! I’ll count that as a solution. Thanks.
