I AM MISSING A MOUNT from my collection

I am a returning adventurer from 2011 and have updated several characters to the War Within. I do not have the Time-Lost-Proto-Drake mount in my warband and it should be there. I was in college at the time, downloaded a rare tracking mod, and spent hours trying to get that mount. Did the mount get lost in the update? I did get several pets and mounts I did not recognize when I zoned in on the updated characters…

It would mean Azeroth to me if I could get this mount restored. Camping and grinding for this mount are some of my best memories from playing this game (My father participated in closed beta and got me to join in open beta). I have returned to Wow because of the upcoming housing instalment and am looking forward to that, but not having my favorite mount to show off is disappointing… If there was/is an easy way to get the mount now, I would, but I’m busy with R.L. to constantly check for the spawns…

Unfortunately, your armory is not showing this mount as collected. The best thing I can suggest short of a ticket to a GM is to cycle through all of your old characters to see if it was earned by one of them and not yet added to your collection for some reason.

Unfortunately, Ebeneezer, there simply is no way to verify that you had the mount. If it were never added to your mount collection and you still had it in one of your character’s inventory, it wouldn’t really be an issue. I’m afraid there is no achievement or other means of verifying that you had it. I am so sorry, I know the efforts that most folks go through to get that one.
