What I like about them most is I don’t have to roll against 10 other hunters in LFR, and lose to a guy who has heroic in that slot already.
Feels good to put in the effort and get rewarded for once!!!

I’m having a blast too. So far only died once on a tier 6, but that was my fault. Trial and error. Use a ferocity pet. Have Brann specced as a healer. Pulled out my gorilla, finished the run, got my goodies.
Did another delve using ferocity and healer Brann, it was cake. Now I’m sad I don’t have any bountiful delves left to do today.
To me, they’re fun. I like a challenge, and I don’t mind running things solo. If I die, I know it’s my fault. I don’t have the patience all the time for group dungeons. I hurt my (dominant) hand last year, and have lasting nerve damage. Sometimes my reaction time is off. My fingers don’t always do what I want them to do. Others don’t always have the patience for that. Delves give me the freedom to move at my own pace, figure out my strategy, and keep on keeping on.
delves are the perfect missing core pillar that those of us who do not like raiding or mythic+ can enjoy…
now we just need playerhousing as the final pillar and we’re set.
IMHO, Mage is easier than hunter for Delves due to better defenses.
Also DPS Brann >>>>> Healer Brann.
DPS Brann executes low HP targets and does more damage and can (could?) tank for a while.
Healer Brann is RNG on where he tosses the potions and does a lot less damage.
Yeah. Make sure you have a few pieces of crafted 590 gear if you can and maybe the 3 pieces of renown 584 gear. Put some low cost enchants (I even used the goblin rockets from DF. Sadly, couldnt use the scope enchant), bring a stack of food, Cavedweller and Agathi health pots since they are on separate cool downs, spec into more healing for your pet and out of lone wolf (im assuming marks, since I am playing that).
All those things will help you. I was 583 when I started with 7 and now 593.
/highfive
…to all my Delve buddies!
Don’t forget to use chat, we have some fun in there, and so far it’s been cool.

Ahh no, it was dropped on its head as a child!

Seriously. To know if you win you are guarenteed loot. Vs maybe get to roll on loot and may or may not win
I was super surprised (and pleased) to find out delves had their own chat that was interconnected with all other delves! Had some great chats without trade spam…
part of the rough start was that the mythic start being delayed meant that a huge vocal and troublesome crowd of players that are not the intended demographics for Delves spent a week bumrushing them and abusing them.
We had a lot of opinions on these forums from people who are gearing from outside the delve gameplay loop and who will never touch them again starting next Tuesday that caused changes to be made to them accordingly.
That’s like the delve crowd getting M+ getting changed to their preferences next week, but it’s okay in their eyes because they play the game for ‘real’.
Same. Pre-nerf they were great, post-nerf they are still great. Loot is hot (since can’t get into mythic yet), and is a great way to gear up for the mythic plus dungeons. They are bite size and I can have any team dynamic I want. Solo, duo, trio, whatever. All good. Wish I had know about radiant echos (going in a raid gets lots more reward) for extra keys.
Delves are my jam!
They’re great when I’m not running into bugs. Picking up candles just to have them disappear, mobs seeing through stealth and running through two rooms to attack me, tricks of the trade resetting boss fights.
Fix the bugs and I’ll take this content seriously.
I won’t be satisfied until I get to do an Indiana Jones Delve.
Void tank doesn’t have problem with most things.
I feel the same, love the Delves, they have some issues, not all but some, but still pretty cool stuff, to do and all.
I miss Harrison Jones. A lot =(
Now that is a great idea!
its important that we unpack exactly what it is you like because i dont think you actually like delves, but you like the systems surrounding it.
so you like no drama environments, and guaranteed loot. this system can be applied to other better content that isnt delves.
Delves are great. In addition to all the positive things people have said about them, one really awesome thing is that it is the perfect form of content if you have less than 5 of your friends online but you want to do something together. And, this includes being solo.
I really like them too, just not in their current tuned state. They were fine for solo before the hotfix and I enjoyed the progression with them. I’m just going to go back to leveling alts until they do some actual decent tuning.
