Amadis:
Exploring Kalimdor was also written by Sean Copeland, Blizzard’s lore historian, who has stated he doesn’t hold Blizzard’s creative developers to having to adhere to previous lore, so if the Night Warrior established the Kaldorei Empire is what Sean Copeland is going with then that will have overwritten the history to be the case now.
Incorrect, as usual.
Blizzard has admitted to being wrong even with their “lore historian” present.
Which makes them a bit more honest than you :
they ask question 7 which is about which Demigod the fel corrupted Grommash Hellscream killed. The choices given were A.) Malorne, B.) Ysera, C.) Zaetar, and D.) Ursol.
Now as people who know the lore can see, the correct answer Cenarius is not an option. Instead the show host credits the correct answer as “A.) Malorne.”
The game historian is right there and involved in the show. How was this blatant mistake not caught beforehand?
For those curious here is the official response.
"Thank you for catching an error on this episode of Stump Sean!
We’ll repost the video shortly with the correct footage. We appreciate your diligence in defending the lore of Azeroth "
Even Blizzard can acknowledge they make mistakes when discussing their own lore. There is lore that their much ballyhooed “Lore historian” can be mistaken about.
