I absolutely detest Thrall and here is why

I may be wrong but I believe the practice of slavery in the Horde was illegal, but also an underground kind of thing.

Rhegar Earthfury owned an Orc Slave by the name of Bloodeye Redfist, as well as bought Valeera as a slave. Rhegar traveled with Thrall to Kalimdor during the events of Warcraft 3, with his slaves in tow.

I think you need to look up what edge actually means.
And by the way this is the lore discussion and character motivation and development falls under that umbrella.

If talking about lore makes you uncomfortable then maybe you should head back to GD.

This isn’t lore this is conspiracy theory levels of tinfoil hatting.

Blizzard is very clear and obvious in their portrayal of Thrall as one of the main protagonists and one of the ‘good guys’

Warping and mutilating the lore to present ‘good guys’ like Anduin/Thrall/Tyrande as ‘bad guys’ and vice versa with characters like Sylvanas is the type of edge the fanfic crowd on this forum gets off on.

The entire thing is weird because the lore says Thrall worked to ensure no Orc would be a slave again. I agree this is a much more relevant issue. His leadership of the post Third War Horde is more questionable than many seem to think.

Conspiracy? What?

Everything I stated happens in the game and the books. What are you talking about?

I’m not the biggest Thrall fan, but he literally has in game dialogue where he accepts responsibility and blame for Garrosh.

The problem is that your OP is hyperbolic spin. It’s pretty obvious that you have a thesis and you are going to find the evidence to support it. There’s no room for nuance or discussion
so what’s the point? You wanted to rant about a character you dislike. Okay. Mission accomplished.

The problem is he goes on record several times before where he ignores the problem.

Thats why his opinions and remorse seem so insincere.
Infact during tides he is shocked and hear broken that Jaina is no longer his friend.

Like dude
you abandoned her. Even when you though she was dead you refused to do anything about it.
Why are you so shocked she hates your guts now?

Feel free to point out where I am supposedly misrepresenting something

Why? As I wrote, you’re clearly not here for discussion. Look at your thread title. There is clearly zero chance of you considering another point of view, and that’s fine. You’re not required to. But I’m not required to waste more of my time beating my head against a wall.

So you can’t point out where I specifically misrepresenting something to support my POV.

Instead you resort to insulting me to make your point right after announcing you are not interested in discussing it.
Lol
Ok. Run along then.

See, this is a good example of spin. And it’s why there’s no point in trying to have a discussion with you.

I am literally asking you to provide evidence of your claims but you resort to insults and accusations instead.

If you don’t want to talk about it then don’t.
Why create a toxic environement instead?

Seriously?

I almost never put anyone on ignore. It is obvious that we are not copacetic, so I am putting you on ignore, and will not be insulted if you do the same.

::He would look to the warcampaign an orc planned utterly and completely decimating the night elven military.::

Yikes.

You mean the war campaign that was a Military failure for the Horde? The one the Night Elves fought to a stalemate with nothing but a skeleton force and town militia? That one? lol

There was no stalemate. They were trapped on their tree to the point that Saurfang believed they were ready to take it. It was then that Sylvanas burned it to death.

Can you and Akiyass focus your discussions on Thrall and his actions?

You know
 get back on topic?
Thanks.

It was a stalemate for most of the war until the Horde hiked over the Felwood mountains. A Stalemate that was made up of a small Kaldorei force and town militia
The Night Elf army was virtually unaffected by the War of Thorns because it wasn’t there to actually fight. The Horde literally uses General Custer tactics and failed at every single military objective they had.

A plan an orc made that utterly decimated and destroyed the night elven military, crippling them completely and rendering them wholly at the orcish highwarlord’s mercy.

Until Sylvanas acted in the exact opposite of mercy anyway.
