The entire process takes a minimum of 2 hours, so try to arrive at the Clerk’s office before 3 pm. If you arrive after 3 pm, you request will not be processed until the next business day, due to the time it takes to fill out the forms, see a judge or magistrate and have the sheriff issue the order.
An ex-parte hearing (a hearing in which only you are present) will be held. If the judge finds reasonable cause, he/she will issue a temporary order commanding the respondent (the person you are asserting is causing or may cause you physical harm) to maintain a certain distance from you, vacate the shared residence, or other orders based on the specific needs of your case.

The restraining order wasn’t successful, that’s just it. It was filed with the court, the court set a date. The restraining order was never approved. Civil case was then filed for damages with no restraining order in place. It has nothing to do with process being used against anybody - the restraining order wasn’t mention or noted anywhere in the civil case filing and included the same complaint word for word as the restraining order.
I don’t see why you should care about what the “”"""“woke”""""" crowd thinks in the first place.
They’re not involved in the case, if they wanna rush to judgment it’s not gonna make a difference.

I do believe thats the case lots of times…but look at how this particular case is…this woman speaking for actibliz didnt even have to get involved. She was just hired months ago. She wasnt at the job being harassed all this time.
She came in TO BE the mouthpiece on this…which is levels of disgusting many men dont even make it to.
She HAS to know the harassment was happening if shes been around so long as someone else claimed above.
Shes not naive. She KNOWs this crap happens in the workplace.
In my mind, shes a complete traitor to her gender…to the victims.

I’ve found it peculiar that there appears to be a razor-thin line between being woke and being sheep. Nevermind the relativity of it all.

Ah, I misread. But in any case again the issue of lack of consistency between jurisdictions, in this case it was county I would assume, vs State and Federal.
Why are you trying to put it on trial on the forums? I mean we all know what’s going on but you keep posting about this stuff, t we all are against what might have happened and we want to see justice but 2 days worth now?

Maybe there should a Mega Trial Post started so they post there stuff there in one place.

It was state. What most people don’t get is use of the magic phrase “I am afraid for my life or loved ones”. That, more times than not will be all that is required for the short term being granted during the Ex Parte. Court date gets set, and it all gets sorted then.
Then I suppose you don’t really have a point based on that response so I’ll stop attempting to reply to your original question.

I could care less what happened in reality, it don’t affect my life, I play wow because of the game not because of what some people might be or did, there are allot of good people still working there going on the forums bashing a company for a few bad apple did is childish.
