This game pretty much is my life, but today I discovered something very disturbing. Apparently the fishing tournament has infinite winners now and I got both the pole and trinket today. I did some research and this big was reported mid June! What is happening with this company! I may be done

I mean blizzard is just a husk now, which is why they rely on recycling existing content from when they had quality games.

if you aren’t following the news, they’re involved in a major lawsuit. Even retail is not getting any love. Blizzard is on hold right now. Sad times indeed.

I don’t think there’s a very big team of coders working on tbc atm. The one or two that are have their hands tied with testing and patching t5 content t
I think it’s something to do with how the fishing comp is programmed in retail.
Doesn’t it give like the first some-number-or-other people to turn in the reward?
Honestly this should just be a good change… With the server sizes it was stupid

It was never one stumble that wore out a knee.
The size of the server is irrelevant, somebody has to win it.
The whole point is you have to be that somebody.

probably, welcome to the shadowlands client! terrible coding with good netcode being the single upside. My pets work far jankier than they used to in original tbc and wrath, really annoying.
But well, if i ever wind up online at the time of the fishing tourney, i guess ill go get my freebie bis fishing rod…
