I’m going to rage so hard when they let people copy their 60s to TBC realms

It would be realistic. Most of the scarab lords I know burned out from doing that rediculous quest line in the first place and didn’t even play TBC.

Why do you expect there to be a pre-patch period?

If they drop transfers to BC servers why would they start at pre-patch and not BC launch? My guess is they would allow you to copy/transfer character to save names then full release when the servers go up instead of pre-patch.

Why not?

Pre-patch did a few things for WoW that maybe you did not consider.

  1. It gave new players a chance to catch up and be part of the TBC gate opening day in outland on a more even playing field. I personally do not mind if players are able to catch up to my gear level, this for me is better because then when I am questing or doing a dungeon outside of my guild its more likely that I will be able to get groups going with players who are more evenly geared.
  2. Its a fun experience, and a time for people to get use to their new class builds, as things do change a bit.
  3. Its an opportunity for Classic WoW players to try out TBC classes and find out if they would like to continue on to TBC or not.

Only thing though, new races weren’t apart of the pre patch events.

Don’t get me wrong I’m not arguing for or against it.

But I know a lot of raiders that would want TBC, and no pre-patch and just get the full thing at launch so they can rush to raiding. Especially since t3 gear will carry most classes into SSC easily enough.

There’s gonna to be a pre-patch, blizz will release it like that cause they have no reason not to.

Joke’s on you, we already have the 2.4.3 TF

Please, rage as hard as you want while I transfer my 60s to tbc. Keep coping

You wont replace naxx gear with good upgrades till Nagrand at least.

Its just a game fam . I read some saying “why play classic if TBC going to come out , why progress” . Why progress? Its just a video game . Doesn’t mather what you do in the game the outcome is the same !

did you just assume that any body would care about your state of mind ? I get rage everytime i about to 2 shot a warrior and he get a dark edge of insanity

I don’t think a fresh start will solve most of the issues people complain about. It would just be a tiny road bump for the botters, gold sellers, and gold buyers. The only result I see from a fresh start will be to make legitimate players lose the characters they’ve worked on during vanilla.

I wouldn’t be against limiting the amount of gold and consumes/trade mats that can be transferred. However, I don’t really think that will even make much of a difference in anything greater than the short term. Bots are gonna bot, and the gold will flow one way or another.

There’s no point to make a soft cap on gold and trade goods, botters will farm those within days of TBC and we’re back at square one.

Yeah, that’s what I’m thinking. I wouldn’t rage if they implemented a soft cap, but it really does nothing but inconvenience legit players. Botters and gold farmers won’t give a damn about a fresh server. It takes them very little time and next to no effort to bot to 70.

I don’t like it, but it is what it is.

How is this relevant? I didn’t start playing wow til TBC, and not once did i look at someone and think ‘wow they have an unfair advantage because they started playing before I did’. What a stupid thought for anyone to have.

Naxx gear will be nice, but it won’t make them godlike compared to another player who is not naxx geared. There’s a much smaller gap between TBC quest/dungeon gear and naxx gear than their is between current dungeon blues and naxx gear.

so what your saying is that originally when you leveled you didn’t move your toon to the next x-pac… wow…

I did reach 60 in classic and moved over to 60 in TBC but I was undergeared and golded then too.

This time around people have been buying gold and doing exploits to get an even vaster advantage. 90% of people will be able to afford flyers with no effort.

90% is a gross overestimate. Maybe 20% is more realistic. Also, no effort? All that effort they put into gold farming in classic just vanishes once TBC is release? Listen to yourself. Talking crazy man.

No.

Try hards are rerolling belfs with or without fresh starts, the complaint about stockpiled gold is also garbage. in TBC you can farm up 1000g in less than a week.
