Correct me if I am wrong:
I have seen many many, MANY posts about this idea; yet a majority of them say they should be on Alliance just because they are descendants of the human race (even though they despise humans and Sylvanas attempted to enslave Eyir for an undead Valkyrie army for the horde…
Even leveling a dwarf as we speak; trying to go 100% full viking/barbarian theme (both classic and retail): HOWEVER:
The single fact alone that a towering Vrykul warrior donned in blue and gold shimmering plate armor with the crest of alliance screaming “FOR THE ALLIANCE” instead of “I’LL PAINT MY FACE WITH YER BLOOD!” while pledging their allegience and honor to a child king just does not add up to me.
On the HORDE side however: A Vrykul berserker donned in red and black savage armor protruding with spikes yelling “FOR THE HORDE/PAINT MY FACE WITH YOUR BLOOD” sounds much more appealing and logical.
Again, before Sylvanas attempted to enslave Eir; Gallywix tried to kill all of the Goblins on Kezan AND the entire horde faction; and yet they were recruited into the Horde anyway. Having a race where both orcs and Vrykul despises the human race would be awesome and can definitely see these two races working together.

So…what you’re saying is that you want a race of humans in the horde?

Humans with a barbaric, savage side.
Playing a dwarf warrior and a human NPC saying “light bless you/be with you” is extremely awkward when you’re trying to go full barbarian…
so what your saying is that blizzard should give all the cool races to horde?
yeah no thanks.

That’s what it sounds like he’s saying. Figures huh?

We had elves first…then you got some elves, and then we got some elves, and then you got some more elves
This would be more equal to alliance orcs.

It’s not just aesthetics or “cool” looking. I just don’t see Vrykul in Alliance.
Can you imagine a viking warrior in towering blue and gold shiny armor with the crest of a lion?

Yes?
Horde already has their berserker race, they’re called orcs.

I hate the color green. (Excluding Mag’har obviously). ;-;
Except they’re not going to be Stormwind warriors.

Then just play alliance vrykul IF they ever become playable. I doubt they will, but ya never know.
I’ve been waiting a LOOOONG time to play em. But if they are given to the horde, I’ll finally be able to drop this game.

It’d also make no sense. They’re ancestors of the humans, and many of the ones we’ve worked with had a semblance of honour and respect for people - unlike orcs.

I know that Vrykul would side with Alliance after what Sylvanas tried to do to Eir. But this is a double-sided sword here. Humans are “mutilated offsprings” of Vrykul and they would rather see them dead?
Again correct me if I’m wrong. I’m not arguing here, just debating. Convince me to stay Alliance rather than re-rolling a tauren warrior (HUGE fan of norse mythology/vikings btw).
Not all Vrykul have that opinion, but I also don’t think many of them would align well with the Horde races.
As of right now we don’t have Vrykul playable at all, so you could always come back to Alliance if they add them.
Right there. Remember, in norse mythology the gods and warriors killed monsters, giants, and creatures. So why join the side that has all that? Oh and the nasty anime furries.

Doesn’t the Vrykul despise regular humans?
Doesn’t the Alliance despise anything that they deem “barbaric”, such as thw Vrykul?
Both sides probably hate each other.
…You know I really think you hit the hammer on the nail here. I’ve only been Alliance for a few days from being Horde for several years since High School. I just assumed anyone who joined Alliance HAD to wear that shiny noble armor.

The factions we know of, yes, somewhat. Not all of them - but that doesn’t mean we can’t get another Vrykul that don’t. They pull that card a lot for the Horde.
No?
