Hypothetically speaking... *IF* Vrykul were an allied/playable race

You don’t have to, it’s common yes. I’m using shiny armor mog myself atm. But I much prefer my bad*ss mogs.

Oh heck no. My Rogue looks like she’s a pure assassin… without pants.

Imagines his future worgen warrior shirtless with savage spikey looking plate armor and dual battle axes instead of honorable/noble alliance armor bearing the crest of a golden lion and shiny golden plate armor with blue hilights

…I love you.

Also: Is your xmog similar to Jack the ripper from Fate Grand Order?

A real ASSASSin.

Pretty doable too, look at wowhead warrior transmogs with male worgen filter. Give ya some ideas.

Also, gotta listen to stuff like this when you’re tearing horde booty up in pvp on a fury warrior.

Like I also said, playing on the Alliance side TRYING to be as full Norse viking as possible, with a human NPC saying “Light bless you/be with you”

My character: a pagan who reveres the ancestors and Norse gods/Odyn …wat?.

It’s just really awkward hearing them say that. I can speak easily for all of the rogues, warlocks, and shadow priests out there too.

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY ahead of ya. I already listen to Amon Amarth, Ensiferum, Windrose and Wardruna.

The goody two-shoe guys gotta have the big bad*ss warriors to do the dirty, brutal work for them. Just think of it that way. Honestly I barely even notice what the random npcs say anymore.

Vrykuls should be neutral

Pandas were a mistake.

Absolutely.

I suppose the way I see it: The ONLY form of Light in Norse mythology was Odin’s son, Baldr. Baldr was the Norse God of Light and Invulnerability.

So I could say when an NPC says that, in my perspective he’s basically saying “may Baldr protect you and keep you invincible from harm.”

Yeah that works. Remember, the wow human religion ain’t christian, the light just seems to be…the light. So the light can be baldr easily.

No they wasn’t, humans are(? The nature is healing(?

Warcraft: Orcs vs Humans would like to have a word.

Also IIRC: Paladin’s are worshippers of Tyr (The God of Valor and Justice) - Which makes sense. Another heavily inspired Norse mythology class.

I just wish Pally’s had a spec that allowed them to tank/DPS with only one hand like Tyr did after he sacrificed his hand to Fenrir.

Wouldn’t say they worship him, they are heavy light worshipers. But they do respect him. They named their organization after him even.

Literally humans were a mistake. We are the prodict of old god void magic that downgrade us from almost divine beings to sqishy flesh

Not inherently, they worship the Light - not Tyr. Prior to Legion there were a number of different Paladin religions of a sort - all worshiping the Light in one form or another - but after that it’s all the Human’s religion of the Light.

It’s not going to be ideal, but Blizzard is letting Retadins swap to shield/sword if need be. Or just 1h.
