All the raid strats have been out for a long, long time. Everything should be one-shot. It’s a not surprising at all if you clear it all in one night.

Yeah, it’s much easier than I anticipated, but I don’t think those fights were designed around the entire raid being in close to BiS tier 5 gear.

yah, the only hard thing about the launch of BT / Hyjal sofar … has been the fact that it came out on a thursday … and we had to cobble together the people that wanted to show up on an offnight.

I mean, the strats for all the SSC bosses were also known for a long time but it took my guild weeks to clear some of those bosses, including TK.
We cleared Hyjal in one night, first night.
I don’t really think this excuse works.

I remember back in the days the amount of people who died from fall dmg on Archimonde and if it wasnt the fall it was the fire. Man people sucked at mechanics back then!

I wouldn’t just say “back then”… people to this day still die to the elevator bosses and that’s only ONE mechanic!

We one shot every boss in MH last night including killing Archimonde with 24 people when one of our DPS dc’d and couldn’t log back in. The one thing that is going to suck going forward is how much of a set back a wipe would cause once we get too comfortable with the content.

I think a larger issue is the content wasn’t made with the 2.4 talents/itemization. Everything will be steam roll until Sunwell which will be a more appropriate difficulty for the patch we are playing.
This is exactly how it was in vanilla with all the content being steamrolled until we got content closer to the patch we are playing (naxxaramas)
Sad really that they refuse to balance the pve content relevant to the patch they using

I think it’s safe to say that the classic community doesn’t want difficult PVE content. If they did, they would just play retail.

Its stunning to see just how much more geared people are and how people are running these perfect raid comps. I dont think we had a single ele shaman in my old guild and we got to sunwell and cleared all of BT
Oh our comp is definitely less than perfect, but we all just overgear this stuff now.

T5 actually was difficult for the vast majority. Hyjal? yeah thats different
I remember seeing soooo many posts about how wiping in hyjal was way too punishing.
I was like “How do you wipe in Hyjal? Surely not after the first week…”
We didn’t seed back in the old days. Those trash waves are a joke now.
