Banned for farming AV liking a crazy person all week? Cool Blizz - as soon as you release an intriguing offer like Brutal Gladiator gear for honor, people log in to play your game and you ban them all because they did not play the way certain people prefer they play? Tower defense is against TOS? Back capping is against TOS? There used to be 20 hour AV games and now they only last 15 minutes… let the people play the way they wish to play.
This is why people play private servers… because you guys have no idea how to do your jobs so you rely on automated systems to do it for you. He has been paying for this game since 2006 and you ban him for the first time ever by mistake? Meanwhile a million rogue bots still making bank…
Get your priorities straight. Fix this now.

Posting this to the forums doesn’t help your situation out whatsoever. He needs to submit an appeal.

He has submitted an appeal. It is just nice to know others are experiencing Blizzard’s stupidity as well.

I mean if your husband could farm AV like a crazy person all week, thinking 8hrs + then they have other things to worry about. Don’t think anyone should be putting so much time into an old game. Also its hard to say if OP is true, and not that the user was botting bgs while at work.

Ok, good luck with the appeal I guess. Not sure what this post is intended to do or facilitate then.
They literally tell you to make a forum post.

When you get suspended? They tell you to make a forum post? Even though it’s against the CoC to discuss disciplinary actions? Are you sure?

When you submit a ticket and they are not able to assist you, they tell you to try the forums.

Quite a few of my friends were hit by this as well, if they don’t reverse, likely will end the guild and my sub.

Ok, but nothing in the OP mentioned anything about opening a ticket and them not being able to help. Did you read the OP?

I’ve submitted several tickets for various reasons over my time playing this game and not once have they ever told me to make a forum post about it

Right, so they wouldn’t tell you to make a forum post in this situation, as it violates the CoC to discuss disciplinary actions.
Discussing Disciplinary Actions
This category includes:
- Creating posts or threads to discuss disciplinary actions taken against a player, including chat logs and email correspondence between a player and a Game Master (GM)
- Creating posts or threads to discuss disciplinary actions taken against a character or account on the forums
If a player is found to have participated in such actions, they will:
- Be given a temporary ban from the forums, depending upon severity
If you open a ticket and it’s about a bug or something, they may tell you to make a forum post. But the OP never mentioned anything of the sort.

Your opinion of what people do with their time doesn’t matter, nor do you need to share it. This is literally trolling.

Posting on the forums does help. The rules/punishment for afks needs changed.

When it comes to specific account sanctions, it does not. It violates the CoC.
You can do that without discussing your own suspensions/account sanctions.
