Who is this magically generous warlock that will do nothing but sit near BRM farming shards to summon entire raids of people every 30-60 minutes … I would like to meet him. As well as his 2 generous companions.
Warlocks need gold for things, too. If mages charge for portals, why not locks charging for summons to the PvP camps?
That, or it could be somebody’s second account…lol…
Very typical response from Horde. Anybody saying this is either mentally challenged or trolling.
… Most of the time you’re lucky to find enough players for one group. It really does sound like you have no experience being on an outnumbered faction.
No, there isn’t always mercenaries for hire. On top of that, if you’re still running dungeons, you likely don’t have enough gold to fork over to strangers to make it worth their time to escort you to a dungeon.
No offense, but those are awful, totally unrealistic solutions, with many flaws.
Sounds more like people are just bored on PvE servers, and are starved for action. But yes, call PvP players autistic. That’ll make you look intelligent and totally worth conversing with…
You’re a terrible representation for the PvE community. They deserve better.
Yes. Faction balance actually matters on PvP servers. Everyone knows this.
I’ve already told you like 3 times now, we’re advocating for it. Do you know what that word means? Or are you just trolling?
And now the servers are ruined because of it. It. Didn’t. Work. If it did work, people wouldn’t be complaining.
Once again you’re proving your ignorance and lack of experience on PvP servers. Balanced PvP servers are a thing, and they’re incredibly fun. Players want them. Deal with it, and stop conflating unbalanced servers with PvP. They’re not one and the same, and the fact that you think our proposed solutions are “a crusade to punish the Horde” shows how emotional you are on the topic, and that you should take care of your deep seated issues before engaging in this debate.
Your solutions are terrible, and you’re not acknowledging that fact. What’s happening is you’re being countered and criticized, but you’re coming off as too arrogant to understand why or acknowledge it.
Until you realize and address this, people are going to continue to criticize and mock you. It’s that simple.
Here is your proposed solutions, and why none of them are viable.
You’re advocating for even more faction imbalance by telling people to leave their weakened servers. This isn’t even a solution, this literally just makes the problem worse.
You’re missing the point, and once again have proven that you have no experience or knowledge on what it’s like to play on an unbalanced PvP server. Larger groups don’t exist. The server is imbalanced. If this was viable, people would be doing it, and server imbalance wouldn’t be the number one most complained about issue.
The mountain is end game. You must go there to progress. It’s a massive part of the game that holds 3 end-game dungeons and 2 raids. I’m legitimately surprised you didn’t know that.
This isn’t a solution. This is a faith-based gamble.
None of these ‘solutions’ were thought out at all, and were embarrassingly ignorant.
Hundreds of thousands of players kept investing and playing this game before it re-released.
Players without any pvp knowledge shouldnt have joined a pvp server, and also players like the OP that expected everyone to be trash and have no knowledge of the game.
Players have a lot of learning to do. Sorry this “new” game isnt new. If u want casual like you said you are…you had your chance at realm select.
This has nothing to do with PvP servers. That’s a strawman argument. This is about faction balance.
Again players kept investing and playing this game before re-released.
These players know how wpvp is going to be out of control and constant.
These players knew joining horde would be more pvp focused. And play horde for easy farm and not have to worry about skill.
These players knew joining ally would be challenge and enjoy that type of play style.
My argument is you should have known hundreds of thousands perpared for this and are enjoying it.
You’re wrong. Not every PvP server is horde dominant. Take a look at Heartseeker.
Honestly it’s not about balance either. It’s about mega servers. If your in a server that’s 75/25 and the cap is 3 k like vanilla, there still isn’t enough to cover everywhere all the time.
I actually totally agree with this. With a mega-server, you need faction balance or it’s just terrible. But if mega-servers weren’t a thing to begin with, this wouldn’t be such a huge issue.
This is exactly what 3/4 of this forum finds incredibly hard to comprehend, for whatever reason.
It’s got nothing to do with the “PvP happened blah blah” vomit they keep aimlessly spewing at people, it’s the size of the server causing the issues.
The simple truth is, phase 2 sucks, and it always sucked. Which is why Blizzard made BG’s as quickly as possible, and why all the private servers skipped it entirely.
To the extent phase 2 was fun in 2005, was to the extent it was just a bunch of noobs pointlessly fighting at SS/TM. The moment people realized that the best way to get honor was farming level 50’s in leveling zones you got what we have now.
Phase 2 could have been fun if the Vanilla Honor System actually incentivized honorable PvP(such as fighting other level 60’s with good gear in opposing raid groups), but it doesn’t.
