This Huokan community has been spamming trade chat for going on what seems like 2 years now. They all advertise boosting services for “in game gold only” but thats not the case, these guys are polluting trade chat. When is something going to be done about this. And I know some of you are going to say: "It’s not against ToS to advertise for in game currency. But come on, how long is Blizzard going to turn a blind eye to this?

So just ignore them like everyone else? There’s literally addons for this.
It’s not a blind eye. Imagine a cockroach. Every time you stomp one 2 take it’s place. You can stomp ad nauseam, but there’s always a couple more crawling about.
That’s the sort or mentality Blizzard is faced with. If it were as simple as press a button and never have botters, exploiters or advertisers again, Blizzard would mash that button.

Call me crazy, but I shouldn’t have to download an addon to stop toxic behavior present in the game. I don’t think that’s unreasonable at all.

they are the new susan express. at least huokan ain’t advertising mage tower carries like wowvendor does. hmm should i give up my account and let wowvendor do my mage tower? oh yeah wowvendor has over 17k trustpilot reviews to it’s just to funny.

If you want to know who is buying then just look around, most of GD has bought something. 8 15s to finish KSM in a single day? 1/10 heroic with only a Heroic Sylvanas kill?

Is the demand overwhelming, or do they advertise so much because customers are hard to find?
I find it hard to believe that there are legions of people who are so bad at this game that they have to pay other people to play it for them.

When you think of “boosting community”, which one comes to mind? For most people?
It used to be a certain one named after a particular goblin, and now it’s Huokan.
At least on NA.

But just because there’s a lot of advertising doesn’t mean that huge numbers of people are paying other people to play the game for them.
I’d think the reverse were true. The doubling-down on advertising seems likely because so few people are buying.

No, it is.
What’ll happen is that you have the higher-ups or people making tens to hundreds of millions or more trying to exchange it for other things, which, as you can imagine, is against the rules.
After what happened to that one other community I imagine Blizzard is keeping a closer eye on the current juggernauts. Or maybe not.
But yeah, the average “booster” isn’t dabbling with anything other than gold.
