You’re talking about them finding the energy to search for that one little snippet in the old client that allowed for the combat drop to occur and then add it back into the new client properly.
This is why they should not have ported it to the new client. The framework was already available.
It is very hard to believe that they have looked into it and not seen where the problem is. They aren’t dumb, they are very smart people that is why they work for a billion dollar corporation.
ohhh boy, you will be surprised. Most employees for these corporations are not actively fixing or looking into problems, there is a lot of time wasting you don’t even realize exists.
Point being every class has some sort of ability that can mean life or death, to write this off as brain dead is being willfully ignorant of other abilities (currently) functioning.
Hunters need FD + Freezing Trap to work consistently as it did in the original release.
Do not go rogue. Every half decent player with a brain will break every vanish you perfom. The “recreated” spellbatching is not even close to the real thing so you can abuse it in manners the original game never ever allowed. There was a vanish bug in vanilla that, when a rogue was unlucky, allowed enemy players to autohit you out of stealth. It happened sometimes but not often. In current classic it is possible to wait for a rogue to vanish and then (without autohitting him before i might add) use an instant ability like sinister strike or mortal strike etc. to hit him out of it. Spell batching will assure the vanish will just bug out and you will be out of stealth again.
You are wanting to play your retail hunter on classic. FD on vanilla took a few seconds and wasnt even always sucessful. Its working as intended. So tired of all these retail huntards calling regular features bugs.
