Hunters specifically beastmaster

I was just informing you.

Since you keep hiding.

Once again, you are a bottom tier player, nothing you say is constructive or has any value in a PvP discussion.

Scorpids and wind serpents are both getting nerfed in line with other hunter pets, the end.

You also are a bottom tier pvp’er until you show your main.

Nothing you say is constructive or has any value because you’re hiding on a sock puppet.

See how easy that is.

Considering mangle is available every 4 seconds and can crit over 200, and warlock dots cost Mana and do less damage, is there any reason for the hunter to have any arranged attacks if they can choose between having a better Druid or better warlock as a pet?

Aka they will be useless lmfao they should buff the other pets not nerf the ones that aren’t useless

Considering since the blue posts said they never meant pets to be as tanky as they are…

(which means nerf to armor/hp)

Pets will be much easier to kill moving forwards as other classes get the rest of their kit.

If you pvp’d or raided back in classic, (before the meta playstyle was introduced)

You can remember how easy some of the pets fell over.

They even got destroyed in some raid encounters leaving the hunter petless.

So as SoD goes on, pets will be much easier to deal with.

Especially if everyone else gets amazing damage/CC runes.

They just did a update post on pets.

  • Hunter
    • Hunter pet attack values have been updated to better scale with Hunter attack power.
      • Developers’ notes: Pets that cast spells such as scorpid poison or Lightning Breath were scaling too well and pets using physical abilities were scaling too little. We’ve now normalized the amount of attack power gained, to scale with the focus cost of individual pet abilities. This means that abilities with a higher focus cost, that are cast less often, will receive more benefit from attack power per attack than abilities with a lower focus cost that can generally be used more often. Overall this should level out the damage and reduce situations where some abilities were scaling too much or too little with hunter attack power.
    • Scorpid poison now distributes the additional damage it gains from attack power evenly over each stack of Scorpid Poison on the target.
      • Developers’ notes: Previously, Scorpid poison received most of its benefit from the Hunter’s attack power in the very first stack. Now the additional damage gained from the controlling hunter will not be gained until the full 5 stacks of poison are on the target. This increases the ramp time a bit and makes it less immediately deadly in PvP.
    • Pets now receive a smaller portion of a hunter’s armor and stamina.
      • Developers’ notes: Hunter pets were gaining far too much durability from hunter stats, to the point where some pets could get more than double the health and armor of a well-geared level 25 player. We still want dedicated hunters to have the ability to tank certain dungeon and raid encounters, but pets shouldn’t be so effective that they become the objectively correct choice.
    • Aspect of the Lion has been redesigned and will now function as an Aura.
      • Developers’ notes: This means that it is possible to have Aspect of the Lion up in addition to another aspect, such as Aspect of the Hawk. As an offset to the lower amount of damage that some hunter pets will deal, and to make talents such as Improved Aspect of the Hunter more attractive to Hunters using Aspect of the Lion, we’re shifting Aspect of the Lion into an aura rather than an aspect. This change will go into effect with scheduled weekly maintenance tomorrow, but the tooltip will not yet change. In a later hotfix, we’ll rename relocalize Aspect of the Lion to “Heart of the Lion” and update the tooltip.

So they fixed the first stack wrecking havoc, and still allowing the full damage to go through once the full stacks got reached?..

Thats fine lol

And there we have it. Pets were busted, pets are being fixed.

you’re still going to get bodied by serpent + kc.

And since you guys are against CC you’ll still die to 3-4 stacks of scorpion poison anyways.

I’m okay with this

my dmg was pretty on par with other people in my raid, my pet was doing a good chunk of my dps maybe around half but overall I was pretty even with the other top dps it’s not like because of my broken pet I was doing way more dmg than everyone else

No, just means that pets aren’t going to be as tanky as players and could just kill them before they get to five stacks and the people that all reroll to play Hunter for PVP will end up getting benched.

you’re still going to get bodied by serpent

nope;

This doesn’t save people who don’t CC lol.

Good players dont get benched

:dracthyr_crylaugh:

Wolfs are back on the melee hunter menu

Wolfs are more broken in p2/p3 anyways once we get more BM talents.

It’s just a matter of time before they replaced scorpions and serpents.

Lower Thunderstomp to a 30-45 sec CD and we are ready for a real tank pet.

Again they are going to fix all Pet scaling.

You clearly never played classic before in '04.

With the rest of BM talents, Cats will still shred you.

It has nothing to do with pet scaling, even if they fixed it.

The entire BM tree buffs pets out the woo waa + we are getting pet runes.

It’s time in the Seasons of Discovery to Discover a world where that doesn’t happen. Pets shouldn’t be doing damage.
