Hunter’s auto shot is not behaving as it originally did in WotLK.
Auto shot should fire whenever your character is standing still regardless of how long (even a millisecond). There is still currently a cast time/retry timer that requires the hunter to stand still for a span of time. This should not exist.
The action of barely stopping to move was called stutter stepping back in the day and maximized freedom of movement. I’m sure all hunters who played back in original Wrath remember this.
Yeah, you have to be standing completely still for the “cast time.” This time is much, much less than Classic and TBC, but it should not exist in Wrath.
I logged on every day when Beta was available to keep checking if it was fixed, but it never worked as intended even on the Beta…
I have noticed this as well. Seems like its way slower than it used to be and I have to right click 2 times for it to auto attack. But this only happens when I try to attack again around pet attacks like Kill Command.
Edit: I guess what I am trying to say is when I do Kill Command I lose autoattack and I have to right click again to start attacking again. It doesn’t do it all the time but it has happened to me twice.
I’d appreciate it if those who dropped a❤️ on this topic can do the same on this link! Hopefully we can draw more attention to this issue and Hunters can feel fluid like they did in original Wrath!
