I just got Arcanite Steam Pistol as a sort of sidegrade from Sunfury Bow of the Phoenix and when I tried to swap them to see how it changes stats, I can see that even though both weapons are 2.9 speed, the bow gives me 2.42 final speed and the gun gives me 2.1 speed which doesn’t seem correct.
I swapped out my ammo pouch from the arrow one to the bullet one and didn’t have any impact. Also checked for racials or something that would give a boost to an orc hunter but nothing. It would be cool if the attack speed was just accidentally faster on the gun but it looks like it lowers the damage too so it’s just a 15dps increase when changing from the bow to the gun and the general damage is lower.
Why would the speed and damage be vastly different in calculations even though the speed and damage is very similar when looking at the items?
This is 1000% what he’s doing lol… As a BM hunter your weapon speed should be WS/1.38 after SS and ammo pouch, which comes out to 2.9/1.38= 2.101. Without the ammo pouch, just SS brings you to 2.416. Exactly the numbers he’s getting
Nope, I changed from quiver to pouch and tried both on both weapons and the speed didnt change when I swapped them out. Sorry to burst the 1000% sure bubble but I even called that out in the original post
