I recently bought a Optical Target Embiggener for heirloom gun but it says it’s not compatible with the weapon appearance why is this?

Are you level 51? It requires that level to use it. It also soulbinds the weapon and heirlooms are not able to be.
That would be my question as well. I don’t see any Hunters who are near level 51 at the moment, which would be needed to use that scope.
You should be able to use one that is in your level range though. Some heirloom items can be a little weird though, so if you are of level let us know which weapon you are referring to.
It is the upgraded Dwarven Hand Cannon. I do have a 51 level character
The Hunter, using the scope would need to be level 51.
A Druid wouldn’t be able to use a Gun or Bow, which is likely why you are receiving that message if you are trying with that character.
If you could use the item on your Druid the act of attaching the scope would bind the heirloom to it so you wouldn’t be able to send it or otherwise us it on your level 25 Hunter.
