I’ve seen you post this garbage a couple times now. Probably best to stop pretending that there are more than a couple specs with anything approaching a difficult rotation.
Hunter was quite literally advertised in original WoW as the beginner friendly class. It’s not “garbage” it’s “canonically correct”.
Sorry you got your huffs in a tuff over hunters being designed, systemically, for introductory tier players.
Edit: Ahh, a hunter main hard locked at sub 400 ilvl despite playing every day rocking a raid finder Ras bow. You took it personal. It was not personal. Next time just post on your hunter. If you had, and been realistic about it/where you’re at I would’ve helped you break that 400 barrier and get some +13/15 vault rewards.
Indeed. Hunter being the easy spec is great as it lets less experienced players enjoy the game. It being the best solo class too is great as well. Well, at least BM Hunter. I can get away with so much BS with this spec when soli that would ne impossible or way more complicated on other classes.
Taming pets is rad too, though shame how unbalanced it is due to how absurd the Clefthoof is.
I admit it was a pain to get seemed like never going to get there but I buckled down on my main level 70 hunter and took it nice and easy knowing in the end I was going to have some sweet new pets to add also knowing once I got it on my main just like the otters this is account wide many of my hunters who never been there now have dragonkin pets.
I’m kind of amazed at how bitter people are about being rewarded for their time and effort.
Besides which, it isn’t even like it’s hard to get Rep; you can easily get a couple thousand rep a week just by doing the available world quests, rares and events (The 5 Obsidian quests will net you a minimum of 750), the weekly turn in (which gets you 500 to each faction) to say nothing of the Storyline/zone quests and during the world quest weeks all of that is doubled.
Hell, once you get your reps capped you get tokens that you can mail to other toons for rep, which will go way, way faster thanks to the 10 and 20 rep bonuses.
This isn’t hard and the fact that there are people whining about a cosmetic pet that doesn’t actually have any impact on gameplay is beyond silly.
Remember when in legion one of our weapon appearances, unlike anyone else, was just on a vendor? They didnt even bother to put it on a questline like every single other class.
Plus a tonne of rep on offer from the black dragons. Farming keys for them and doing your weekly quests deliver a heap of rep. Hunters were taming dragonkin two weeks into the expansion . Took me a month to give weeks because I didn’t do the black dragon area early on and any weekly that offered a choice of rep as a reward I went with other factions for profession reasons.
For some reason, if you actually have to work at a reward, it’s a problem.
Getting to the point it’s no longer competitive rewards, but… literally just grinding rep. In an MMORPG. At your own pace. With no time limit.
Those of us who paid attention KNEW that Renown was going to take longer and be more points than Rep… but as with everything we were over talked, told our concerns weren’t valid yadadada general discussion rationalization for their addiction issues…
What? Renown is way faster than old rep and there are numerous ways to raise it rather easily. Then it’s siper fast on alts and you can hand out renown gaining stuff to said alts.
These dudes are on some serious cope. Imagine day-1 available 100% rep bonuses for alts being viewed as “more difficult”. Not to mention a guaranteed 1k faction from weekly dungeons + 1k faction from aiding accord… Not to mention permanently grindable rep hand in items.
As a hunter main not once did I find this renown grind absurd or annoying all it was to me was a stepping stone to taming new pets for my stable and I treated it that way my main did everything they could to get rep doing world quests and other stuff but I didn’t let it get me down.
In the end it is so worth it because now all my hunters can tame these pets plus a “special” dragonkin pet that will be fixed in an upcoming patch.
