Hunter Pets.... are exploding

so is anyone else having issues keeping hunter pets alive? If i use sac it dang near gets 1 shot… meanwhile demo main pets are immortal… any tips?

using skeletal raptor

Pre-mend it, exhil if it’s in shambles, move it away from the meat grinder, run double pet honor talent.

Hunters and their pets do feel pretty delicate right now, though, yeah.

My pets aren’t showing up on raid frames any longer. Have heard a few others having the same issue. That’s part of it.

yeah my healer cant get mine to show up either. but i mean its litterally getting two tapped by sac

For sure. I have had to use masters call a few times just to bring my pet back. We can spec into the extra healing, but it’s a huge loss for our damage. My pet just dies to DH/DK aoe damage. It’s very disheartening.

Yeah, that’s an issue for me too since I’d like to know if I need to heal the pet when I play with my friend on his demo.

I made a post on the bug forum and it’s getting no traction. Same on the hunter forums. Seems like a really big deal, but crickets. =/

Bloodlet and diseases? :dracthyr_love_animated: It is quite a bit of more or less passive damage that shouldn’t be reduced by cleaving.

at the rating im playing at, the zug zug boys normally tunnel me or my healer and ignore my pet. i swear if they were to even look at my pet theyd one tap it. :fearful: :fearful: :fearful:

Against any of the melee cleaves, my pet dies if it gets no heals. With the frames being bugged, I lose track. Pet getting 0 heals outside of that unfortunately. A few healers have been nice and apologized, not that I’m blaming them. Had a couple whisper me asking me why my damage was low… They can’t even see my pet is dead. Sucks. :frowning:

if a healer asks me why my dmg was low i just ask them why theyre healing was low? :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

and if they have a problem just check pvp me theyll see my achievements and well end of convo.

I had someone ask me how I got the mop enchant and I asked why? They got pissed for me even responding. Nothing like going 0-6 because 5 traps got broken and your pet dies twice. Much fun. Super wow.

hunter pets definitely need huge defensive buffs for how much they gimp the hunter and how easy they are to kill. Having to take a pvp talent to revive it feels awful.

It’s not as bad as being forced to turtle then immediately having the little fellow blown up. :dracthyr_cry_animated:

Yea, play Demo. The only pet class blizzard cares about, and everything a BM Huntard wishes it could be.
