Here to report another hunter pet bug.
Pets are not staying “dismissed”. At first I thought I had accidently moved before the dismiss was complete, but it’s happened many times for me now.
I just tried to dismiss my Chimerra, he disappeared, only to have him return when I got on the boat to do a few champion missions. I dismissed him again, only to have him return when I ran back to the marketplace.
Unfortunately your bug report is in the wrong forum either use the ingame report feature or the bug forum this forum has nothing to do with bugs.

I guess a moderator moved it.
As to the bug report itself, it’s been widely reported already by all pet-using classes, but a new report to reinforce the issue can’t hurt.

Warlocks have the same bug. If you dismiss a pet and then mount and dismount, your pet will respawn.
It also respawns on loading screens, or anything like that.
The other day I dismissed my Felguard, respected to destro, then mounted before I summoned a pet, and my Felguard respawned…
