I need help choosing a main!
I like both classes, but have to get one to 70. Which class is better for solo-leveling and farming?
Hunter is the easiest hands down, always.
Both have laid back and enjoyable aspects to them.
in addition to what drooler said and he’s right; Druid is also very damn good, just that its a bit more sensitive to gear quality.
So druids need good gear, where as hunters not so much?
How good are druids at soloing elites and dungeons?
hunter 100%
druid is capable, but hunter is super relaxing, you can just auto-shot mobs down and you and your pet will be 100% hp at the end. You can handle basically any elite quest, track anything, and taming animals is super fun.
Also your pet can kill mobs while you drink, as long as you tap them with 1 arrow you will get loot. you can use him to pull mobs too.
If you’re not a min max type and just like solo play there are so many cool animals you can take. warp stalker is really cool for farming and bgs because he teleports to the enemy. He can go upstairs in WSG for instance. Birds can aoe threat very well so you can farm old dungeons and stuff.
nothing cooler than a low level hunter who made the trek to a faraway zone to tame a rare pet. Check out the website TBC Petopia , they show all the pets and where to get them
Druids with gear are nearly unkillable in bear form.
Hunters who have all the abilities to kite are unkillable even when naked.
Well. Looks like I’ll be leveling a hunter then!
…maybe a druid after I hit 70.
Thanks!
for solo yes hunter.
but other thinngs such as m+ - a tank role > others.
Basically. By the time you out aggro the growl of your pet…most mobs are already almost dead. if they come to melee range you just cut down that last bit of HP bar.
YOu can push 2+ on 1’s with traps. 2 on 1 you freeze trap the 2nd pull, kill the first then kill their friend. So you can offset 2 on 1 beat downs here.
