We were looking for a healer for our TOES run and ended up invited a healer who had never been to TOES and wasn’t familiar with it at all. I’m fine with giving an inexperienced player the time to learn a raid so tossed them an invite and summoned them in. Only to learn they weren’t just new to TOES, they were new to level 90 and classic as a whole. Almost all leveling gear, fresh level 90, and no idea what a discord was.
I whispered them apologizing telling them they aren’t yet ready to a raid environment but to keep gearing up and they’ll be there in no time. Then I said we’d get them a mage teleport back to the city.
They responded “nah, im fine here.”
