I mean you’re talking about Titan construct dwarves. If that gear wasn’t epic the entire place would’ve erupted and Blizz would’ve felt the shock.
I only know of 1 Earthen Dwarves in game that are playable. My point is all the insane options they got but no other race did.
I get it. But maybe they’re trying something new to excite people about new Allied races. As it’s been pointed out in here there’s really only like four or five sets that even get anybody interested and most of that are the perv that loves the void elf stuff. I’m super glad I made an earthen paladin.
I don’t know why they did it, but I’m glad they did. My paladin looks good and most of those sets.
Maybe I just didn’t look that close, but idk, I like the set a lot.
And it works really well for this mage’s mog
This has been my main gripe with the blue coloration of this set.
The green and red versions both follow the same color design as far as the trim is concerned, but for some reason the blue version is half gold-trimmed and half silver-trimmed.
I think on my mage because they are a mechagnome i’m using bits and pieces of the nightfae armor particularly the cute little backpack with the branches on it. It fits the arcane aesthetic and makes me look like a wandering magi.
Honestly like the BFA armor much better. It looks so blah except the eagle shoulders which looks like they said “You know? This looks blah. Lets make a shoulder have the Eagle to match Varian. So people can match it with the BFA armor.”
Actually, the Stromgard red is the only one that has all the trim in the same color. The Stormwind blue and Lordaeron white have the same color of trim for belts and shoulders, but another for the other pieces.
I really like the sets, though, because they have a lot of customability. Multiple helms, multiple chests, multiple belts, can use the wristguards without gloves to have a gloveless bracer look, as well as the multiple colors.
One thing I wish they’d fix, though, is the white and red sets leggings cutting off the bottom of the tabard. The blue set doesn’t do that, but the other two do, and it’s a little frustrating.
Ah, you’re right. I guess I just glanced at the gloves and boots quickly and didn’t notice the other parts. I personally wish they all followed the same color scheme as the red version, just with different primary colors.
Not accustomed to other people sharing their opinion in your presence, eh?
I suggest going outside. Or, as is the phrase today, touching grass.
I disliked it at first but it grew on me over time and for a while it was one of my most used transmog sets on some of my Human characters.
The main thing I dislike is the material the legs are made of (not the blue part but the pants itself with the leather or padding, w/e that is. I like to replace the chest with something else too and use the 7th Legion tabard over it so it matches the set. Wish the 3D part of the pants where a separate item I could add onto any pants.
Now that you point it out I do think the bottom rim on the helm should be gold but I never use the helm anyway with the set so it’s not a big deal for me.
I use mine occasionally, sometimes mixing and matching with the Argent Conscript set we got in the run-up to Shadowlands.
I am very ok with other opinions. We all have them, and most of us could care less about other ones. For example, whining about the color combos on some pixelated clothing that would really only matter on an RP realm is pretty tiny on a list of things that could be changed about the game. Aside from the slutty Velf top, I hardly see anyone using a Heritage mog vs something they spent months farming in old Dungeons/Raids.
So there you go. I have shared an opinion, as have you. Feel free to grip about two shades that do not belong together on a set you will wear for a few days and get bored with. As for your insult at the tail end, I have no desire to drop to your level with a rebuttal. I know what I was doing all afternoon, and it was not hawking fights on a forum.
Was it an insult?
I remind you how this began;
Me stating which ones I like, and that I dislike Vulpera’s heritage set.
If anyone assumes their opinion is a fact to anyone other than themselves, I would definitely count them as deLulu and they need some meds.
Then you add this statement.
Not accustomed to other people sharing their opinion in your presence, eh?
I suggest going outside. Or, as is the phrase today, touching grass.
So I assumed you do not get out much to deal with differing opinions.
Was I rude? Maybe. Is it an insult? I didn’t really view it as one when I said it. The only people I know who see the need to belittle others for their opinions are those who don’t see other opinions very often.
I hardly see anyone using a Heritage mog vs something they spent months farming in old Dungeons/Raids.
I see a very wide variety of mogs, both heritage and not. I use heritage for my Nelf Hunter, and for a Tauren Shaman.
I’m not doing the little breakdown BS that some of you seem to get off on.
I said Vulpera. You said “Tauren, Nelf, Velf, Troll, and Mag’har have the best heritage sets”. That is an opinion. I happen to think the Gnomeregan set is the best. That is my opinion. See how they are both opinions? Then I cracked a joke about people who like to use their opinion as fact being delulu. I did not call YOU delulu, unless you think your opinion IS a fact. But you read it, and thought I was clappin at you. You were wrong. Unless you really are confident that your opinion about heritage armor is a fact… then I retract said apology. I’m glad you like Heritage armors. They make some races look BETTER. Like my Belf. Never did look right til that Armor, and now I blend it with a few pieces.
I’m not doing the little breakdown BS that some of you seem to get off on.
Because you dislike being accountable for your behavior.
I don’t care if you’re going to do it. I’m still going to do it to you.
That is an opinion.
Yes.
Because you dislike being accountable for your behavior.
I am fully accountable for my behavior. But unlike a lot of people, I do not need to break it apart to keep it straight. As an adult, and a clever one at that, explaining myself in a single comment and “owning” my ish is not a problem. Most people on the forum will blame everyone but themselves and not back down to be right. I’ve said my part. You’ve said yours. See you at the 30 Anniversary when we get recolored Heritage Armor for participating. Good luck to you.
I do not need to break it apart to keep it straight.
Apparently you do need it broken down, because no matter how much you say it wasn’t directed at me, the only person you’d responded to was me.
There were no other quotes or mentions.
I liked their heritage enough to make my DK one. Now they only have 3 racials, and it makes me grumpy.
