Agreed. My hunter SHOULD look more athletic than my casters. Because she WOULD BE.
“A thought came to me… I don’t think a Slider for Body Types would work. It may cause a lot of clipping with the Armor, worse than we have now. But if they make different body types, it would be easier to code the Armor to fit.”
“Just a thought…”
/smile
And some people loves to say that human are boring…
They have tons of possible looks and Humans are the core of any medieval fantasy game, cause is based on the real life medieval era.
ps. Looks like i’m the only one who recognized Lucian and Sena, from League of Legends, on the pictures the op posted.
All I want is for the male human to not look jacked on steroids with a new body option.
Absolutely nothing they could add to them besides that makes them playable.
I want to look like a regular human with wrists, not my dad if he melded with a gorilla.
I love all of these ideas!
If my Human Characters like my Mage, Rogue, Paladin, and etc have more features. That would be great.
Like for my Paladin. I like him the way he is it’s just all I need is bit of a scar because of the many times Orcs, Blood Elves, and the Horde don’t like him that much in terms of Battles, and Assassinations, and full Beard like small full facial hair on the face and that’s it.
For my Mage pretty much Light Blonde Hair Coloring and nice style hairstyles.
For my Pirate Rogue would be Deep Pure Red Hair Color or another Shade of Orange that is mix of Orange and Red like what Miss Fortune or Lilith from Borderlands look like and also ether Jaina’s Ponytail or Miss Fortunes from League would do it and that’s my Rogue.
If I was going to create ether Asian or Black. I would love to see crazy Asian Styles from like what Street Fighter, Diablo 3, Diablo 2, League of Legends, Overwatch, and etc would have.
Hey gang, I see you all, and I have so many more items to share regarding slimmer humans, as well as a few more Point of Origin customization ideas. Thank you all for the support and suggestions!
Unfortunately, I suddenly, inexplicably, do NOT have the ability to post links and pics
I haven’t been silenced or gotten in any trouble, and I’ve been able to post links and such for at least a year or more, so I don’t know what’s going on. I’ve been looking for forum support, but embarrassingly enough, I’m not sure which to use.
In the meantime, you’re free to tag me by just quoting this post right here and asking for the pictures! I don’t mind doing that for you.
Aww, thanks Fallynn my friend! I’ll be happy to do so, and I appreciate the help. I’ll send some ideas your way this weekend sometime, I don’t want to bother you now.
Also, Happy Turkey Day, to you and all the Humans out there
this style of clothing, smooth animation, is cool. he’s svelte, rather elven looking but not an elf. i’m a fan of this character, named zhongli
I love the dreadlock customizations and have seen pretty good ones in lot of games out there.
Though my biggest concern about WoW is the perm-hair one because the game is hard cel-shade based and many MMORPGS/RPG games have pretty awful designs for the perm-hairs.
Even in Sims 4, they never added em by devs and when you see customized mods by fans, it looks completely out of place within the game’s cel shade designs.
So idk how they’ll handle it. I am assuming the devs always probably pulled their hairs apart when they tried to do full perm on the hairstyle.
Lol as mentioned before, they need to do something about the wrists (for male).
Also, if I’m playing a wizard type class like a mage or shadow priest it really doesn’t make much sense for them to be as big, skinny kt would have been so good for this but… w/e. I’ll probably just make my spriest female, I’m not a fan of the single mom look but at least it makes more sense.
In the current state of the game it would probably “take too many resources” to add body sliders or just shapes, just unblock skinny kts and update many of the old hair textures.
Stubble beard is not a bad idea btw.
I have to say: that was a LOT of really amazing artwork in those posts, OP. Goodness!! If we had even half those styles/aesthetics in game…
Queens is a dump though. Absolute cesspool.
Hey all, I chose these out the sets I have, because I think that they outline the particular body styles that you’re describing, and that players have been looking forward to for a while now (particularly the athletic vs. bodybuilder design).
I’m still having some difficulty with links, but our friend Fallynn will give a hand with that when she’s free (thanks again, Fallynn!!). As usual, all credit to the original artists, these are shared for conceptual purposes only…

In my opinion, you can contrast any two of these, and see a marked difference. I’ve chosen them for the relative perspective in which they’re drawn, which (again, in my opinion), displays the musculature of their given classes very well.
The mage is fit while being of modest proportions, the ranger has heavy arms and the shoulder region appears equally muscled, but as he’s an archer, it plays well with his slimmer chest and waist. The rogue has just enough upper arm build to dual wield short swords, while maintaining an overall svelte frame (shout out to Hyperspàce).
Here you go
Oh man every single one of my casters would wear a variant of this if available.
the blonde hair colour that kul tirans/blood elves/dwarves/etc have but for regular sw humans pls
It’s definitely a good look! You’ve made me consider something, regarding slimmer Human character figures and WoW clothing: I think Blizzard does something different with all of their character designs and clothing.
Actually, Cyndilou touched on this earlier in the thread, and expressed it better than I:
If this is the case, then that may be the reason we not only don’t have several obvious character designs, we probably won’t ever see them. At least, in WoW’s current iteration; they may have to implement a WoW 2.0 after all, just to keep up with customizations that other games have been doing for years now. Who knows if they’d ever be straightforward with us on that kind of info
