What ever happened to …what was his name, in Stormwind, Wong(?) maybe. Didnt he disappear in Cata or mop?

If you meant that the players’ opinion is less valid than the people who designed the game, then I understood.

If not, no clue.

Really, its more pertinent to look at the facts than anything here.
People have opinions one way or another, but the facts are, they aren’t going to be changing the way humans look 5 weeks before launch because some one thinks they don’t look like what they believe Asians should look like.

None of them look anything like the ones shown at Blizzcon, though.

? there’s many asian options.

Have you tried changing skin colour? it might be the shading that’s throwing you off.

I wonder why Blizzards models can’t properly display epicanthal folds. Seems to be the same problem with the Nightborne

Yeah, WoW humans have always been funny like that. Idealized in terms of body build/shape, but not at all in terms of facial appearance. I’d rather have the reverse — an average-build body with nice looking face options. I think most probably agree, which is why the belf/velf male model is so popular.

I mean theres plenty of face options unique to the asian skin tones, but not really any faces that look asian.

Here’s an album of the ‘asian’ faces for female humans:

Heres the asian face were shown at Blizzcon:

None of them are really even close.

The “asian” faces aren’t very asian based on what I saw in the beta. Probably because we’re still dealing with Arnold Schwarzenneger facial proportions.

They added new face shapes as an option so I dont even know what their excuse is.

Even in the preview pictures from the start the faces looked more latino or filipino than east asian. I think the problem for blizz is that they can’t give asians small eyes because then they would be accused of being racist.

Which is hilarious because many asians are known for being super pale.

IDK I can recreate hispanic characters.

No that’s not ethnicity that’s just bone and fat structure.

Nah, the belf and velf don’t really have great faces as the females look too bug eyed and the males look just weird with their duck lips. They have better bodies that aren’t so stiff which is why they are liked.

For me they look very asian. I live close to asians that look Like this. I do agree, they don’t look like the blizzcon option which seems to be a recurring problem for human females. Back when they revealed the human model in WoD the fem human face was incredibly gorgeous, yet that’s not an option in game.

And never made it to beta or PTR.

They were on the PTR for the prelaunch event. So it’s safe to assume that they will be.

THey look Asian… but like pseudo Asian, in the same way the black humans look Pseudo black.

There are some differences that are missing, and the eyes and hair just aren’t dark enough… It also really bugs me that “black” and “asian” faces get 3 skintones each.

Yeah, I’d like to have a couple more shades darker and lighter, but what can ya do? we can only hope Blizz continues to add things as time goes by.

Yeah. I’ve found with, “black” humans at least. a few faces with the “wide” option, really do a good job of making them look more like actual black people so I can use the darkest default shade, but it’s still not as good.
