Huge nerf to solo/outdoor gear progression in DF Season 1

MS is going to bring in devs that understand how to make a game.

Hopefully they choose devs that play and understand wow or else they’ll start changing combat style and copy pasting in from every other game.

at least mythic 0 and LFR gear is purple again on beta

Was there ever any doubt ?

I need to find that thread where I promised a few people they would have egg on their face when that got fixed.

If you’re not doing any content that requires a higher level of gear then why should you be rewarded with a higher level gear? The greater the risk(challenge), the greater the reward(gear). The gear you acquire in the open world is good enough to complete any open world challenges. If you want more gear, do more content.

they need to bring back titanforging and bonus rolls in addition to the vault

Not really; the cux of the MMORPG is many individuals coming together to achieve things they can’t on their own. Solo players choose to not do this and thus effectively undermine themselves either out of some misconception about the genre (that they are entitled to the same quality of gear as those who engage fully with it’s systems) or real life factors (IE lack of available time).

Frankly, if you’re looking for a sprawling fantasy setting that allows for infinite scaling and no player interaction you’re better off just getting skyrim and jamming a bazillion mods into it.

Titanforging needs to be buried and forgotten.

This thread is wild

In all fairness, Blizzard balances classes based on raid level gear so without having at least a close ilevel most classes are clunky, broken, and just plain awful. An easy fix would be to balance the game based on where the majority will end up, rather than at the highest level while the bottom plays terribad.

Square just released the story trailler for Final Fantasy XVI. Should have all the “solo” players thrilled.

“A massively multiplayer online game (MMOG or more commonly MMO ) is an online video game with a large numbers of players, often hundreds or thousands, on the same server. MMOs usually feature a huge, persistent open world, although there are games that differ.”

Perhaps this is what you meant to cite?

Is not part of the definition.

Especially considering many MMOs aren’t even open world. Lost Ark, Final Fantasy XIV, Guild Wars 2

Don’t forget destiny!

Especially Destiny. Talk about a cool setting that is sucked of any fun factor by limiting you to a very small space in what looks to otherwise be a mysterious universe that just begs to be explored.

Games based on group content. Learn to deal with it

Says the bully that can not handle players getting better rewards for playing the game the way “they” want to!

Not a bully.

Sorry you feel entitled to heroic and mythic raid level for just playign the game. Not how this game works.

Play the game you want too all you want. Just dont feel entitled to heroic and mythic raid level gear because of it.

I loved Horific Visions.

Solo content for -5 ilvl under Mythic raids ?

Yummy.

The question is, could you handle it ?

NEVER once asked for that, but you have that line so wedged in your brain, it is all you can come back with time, and time, and time again!

Broken record indeed!
