Huge nerf to solo/outdoor gear progression in DF Season 1

Absolutely.

Man, I was just voice messaging with me friend and reading the forums not logged in and I see someone I ignored respond to me. I wonder if they’re hinting that my story is not true? It absolutely is, unfortunately.

I am so done with disrespectful people. Their loss.

So basically, you’re too busy crying about made up bullies to go on Wowhead and read about the gearing options offered to you to answer his question.

Says a lot about your motivations in this post.

SL Legendaries were pretty dope. Easy to get, good money maker for crafters who dedicated themselves to it. Overall one of SL’s good systems, outside of the Torghast currency farm.

Nothing says “my story actually wasn’t true” like quips about people you’ve supposedly ignored pointing out the obvious.

I know you aren’t actually ignoring me, you’re reading it. You don’t know anyone that’s 5k io and being 5k io doesn’t mean being fat and living with your mom, that’s just a ridiculous correlation that doesn’t even exist.

For reference, this is Gingi :

This is also Gingi :

That may well be. But given that the crafted gear about the same ilvl as what we have now, access to that ilvl gear has not been removed, thus this entire post is a false premise.

I would say you’ve been more than civil given the genuine abuse some people have thrown your way in this thread.

I think you struck a nerve. Holy smokes. Whipped out a poster child and everything. Telling that you and I made large posts, and got zero responses, but lots of attacks.

No problem, I’m sure they will be able to do all the open world content with gear that is lower iLvl without any difficulty.

There is an inconsistency in this statement. There is no such thing as an outdoor gear progression. Gear is the thing you pursue on the end game to be able to do M+, raids and pvp of a higher dificulty. If you don’t do any of those, you don’t need gear, you just auto attack and win. There is no progression there, you start with enough power to go as far as you want. There might be story progression, but no gear progression.

No, you went from auto attack and win to auto attack and win.

No, but they probably want you to engage in end game activities, since that is the entire content of the end game. If you don’t want to engage in any of those, you will probably not have a good time.

So they can auto attack and win faster? I don’t think this is very enticing. Crafted gear are for those who want access to higher difficulty content faster.

Even if it is true, I’m going to doubt that the 2 things in question actually have a causation relationship.

Not to mention imagine if it’s true, the guy probably has quite a few personal issues and WoW is his escape, and instead of being happy for him to have found a nice way to build some personal confidence, Nadetta here straights dunks on him and body shames him to boot.

Way to kick a guy when he’s just starting to piece it together.

Yeah, probably the only way this is OK with the forum COC is if the story is complete fabrication.

The fact his head is obviously shaved like that (you can see the 5 o’clock shadow) never clued you in this was a parody of a parody ?

Man neglects his health, playing wow

Lets not pretend this is the first story of someone doing harm to themselves playing this game.

The parody is funny, because it reflects reality.

Who said we were. Guy was probably farming out world gear.

This proves it, Casual content that rewards good gear is harmful to health.

See I too can make correlations without causations!

That’s you IRL ? Gee, put down the donut and eat a salad.

Like the pinup you posted a bit ago? All wow gamers are successful and ripped eh. Not sure i’d have picked a guy tainted by the filth of method though. Not buying his PR disassociation.

The point was proving there’s no causation or even correlation.

No, WoW gamers are diverse and the game mode they pick has no correlation to their health habits or lack thereof.

Are you really this dense that you couldn’t get such a simple point ?

Making comments on people’s health based on their game habits is asinine at best, downright inflammatory and rule breaking at worst.

Depends on what side of the fence you’re on. If you were a farmer that focused on selling them, then yes. If you’re not and didn’t have hundreds of thousands of gold, then no. I know the cost stopped me from going beyond a 235 lego for most of my toons.

I think the proper analysis is that both posts are exceptions, or that there is no direct causation. They are 2 independent variables about a person.

The best wow players I know have at least 1 pet. Does that mean that you must have a pet to be a good player?

If you tell me a story. I’d believe you.

I guess you weren’t raised that way.

I once saw a guy ride a pink elephant in the sky with diamonds. He said all people, of all races and creeds must run at least a +2 key per day.

Respect his wishes.

Don’t you go calling me a liar and get started on that +2 key then.

I was raised to be suspicious of self-serving stories, especially if they are just disguised insults that insinuate people who zone into an instance are all fat live at homes.

But you do you, you go on believing everything you hear.
